[FlickFrap's] "Galaxy" Flicker Build (Not Cheap) [OUT OF DATE]

I'd say use the Prism Guardian (not only because of the reduced mana reserve and resists, but also because the +1 to gems is extremely strong), but get good ES boots first (200 ES+ at least) and get Atziri's Acuity (the int on them is worth 12-16% increased max energy shield, basically one and a half to two energy shield passives' worth of ES). The gloves also free up 14 passives (VP and the evasion nodes spent getting to it as well as Mana Geyser) or more that you can spend on ES/damage. The passive tree you posted had 103 passives spent, so here is how I would spent those points once you have the gloves:

I would also link your Blood Rage to an Enhance gem if you can get one, each level of Enhance over 1 provides another 1.6% life leech and 6% attack speed.

Like Lopan said, change your flasks to Surgeon flasks and get used to spamming them. The mitigation from flasks is huge and they will have extremely high uptime with your build's crit rate (don't skimp out on quality for them). For bosses, use Lightning Strike on any nearby adds to max out on Frenzy+Power charges, and then Flicker the boss down. Your damage is your survivability, you should be able to kill bosses like Piety within a second or two depending on map mods. For bosses like Piety, Megaera, and Dominus, dodge the main attack (lightning ball, firestorm, lightning lasers) and then flask up and flicker in. If you burn through all of your Frenzy charges and the boss is still alive, Whirling Blades out and use Lightning Strike from a distance. For longer boss fights like Atziri you will probably have to swap out Flicker for Double Strike.

All of this guys advice is solid. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Got the Acuity, finally have some decent ES (6.3K) even though I snapshot...just out of curiousity, how do you MF swap for Aurseize once u got Acuity and removed VP from your build? Or u have to respec every single time?

You rly should stop snapshotting. You are gonna feel hard gimped when the next patch comes.

I don't have issues when mf swapping. Obv i cant flick nonstop w the mf setup but i still 1-2 shit mobs and mana is back my the time i run to next mob i just don't wb around like i would otherwise.

Oh and no half regen/temp chains maps while mfing.

I mainly meant the issue with not having Acuity and no VP will leave you without instant leech = instant dead on any form of reflect with our kind of DPS...or am I wrong? How you handle reflect/harder bosses without instant leech?

about snapshotting: I am actually using Prism when I farm dominus, I use snapshotting in high lvl maps...its the only way to survive for me rly, without the huge ES shield I am paper...if they remove it from the game, so be it...if it makes me squishy and unable to lvl beyond 90, so be it, I can just switch to different build...but while it works, why shouldnt I use it?
Finally... I get to put this to use:

I'm probably going to use a quality Additional Accuracy instead of Critical Strike Chance. I guess I could eternal it and re-chrome... but I kinda want to use it as is. Also, not happy about mirroring a dagger, but I guess it has to be done. Mirror fees seem insane and seemingly get "out crafted" quite often. Anyway, which of the current daggers out there is now the best one for this build? The one with lower phys dmg, but spell dmg?

Mine or loath bane imo.

However some people prefer dragon hunger.

Slower w bigger hits or faster w slightly smaller hits.

Personal choice rly.

However binos will take you to end game if you are on a budget.

It's not rly a question of if, they already stated they are getting rid of snapshotting.

And physical reflect is the only danger in that situation, in which case just ls them down. The big spike aura is pretty easy to spot, especially once you are familiar w the flicker playstyle.

And to be honest I wouldn't try to solo high lvl piety/dom while mfing, just because I've been leveling and would rather not risk the exp loss.

some ppl prefer the ambushers (Loath Bane or Honour Etcher), many ppl say for pure flicker Dragon Hunger is the best, whereas the ambushers are definitely better for ST (if you ever consider transitioning to it)...

also dont pay ridiculous fees, buy one already mirrored instead...

They said it so many times already, yet its still there after years and years:) but w/e, if they remove it so be it...will try to adjust it once its done...

About the dominus, I actually didnt mean Dominus from maps, I meant Domi farm (normal Dominus in Scepter...) 6 man party fast runs...U cant rly snapshot there cos its about time efficiency, u switch zones all the time etc it would be impossible to re-cast the auras all the time...whereas in maps, u just do it once usually or few times if u go back to sell all the rares)

edit off topic: just got wrecked by the fire dogs, kinda shitty combo (map had multiple projec.)...the absence of no stun rly hurted

I think the mirrored hybrid dagger (lower phys with spell damage) is not rly that good for this build honestly...I think it would more fit to a Scion ST build or something like that, where you benefit even more from the various aura nodes...but still would love to see the damage comparison by that dagger vs ambusher/pure crit daggers
