I'm not a big fan of ST. Too slow imo. Some people use it with my build to proc pcoc instead of ls. I think ls is light years more effective in this aspect, hands down.

Although I'm not sure what the build you're linking has to do with mine other than being a low life shav/coe crit build. Def looks effective but the dps won't clear full party 77/78 maps quite like this will.

Dude's got some sick gear though, that's for sure.

I know ST and Flicker are apples and oranges but I am just wondering whats stronger atm...flicker seems to be stronger in clear speed and pure damage, but how strong is it currently in terms of survivability? I mean can you clear 78 maps with ease including boss? (considering no insane mods on the map)...have you tried Atziri with that build? (not the uber one ofc)...also how often you die to desync/reflect? pre SoTV I had massive problem with that...

I am just asking cos still sitting on full respec with my shadow and if I gonna invest 400ex into something I want the best I can get simple as that:)

I can however I am on the race to lvl 100 with minimal funds left over after finalizing this guys gear atm. So i tend to run through 77-78,maps in a couple minutes and skip boss to jump right into the next map being that i work almost 60 hours a week with a child and have minimal game time lately.

I dobt rly die at all anymore at this point.(although i did die the other night to some vaal skill exile i wasnt paying attention to while looting) I will say that the st build you linked has more survivability, but you are also right in that pure dmg and clear speed this build wins hands down. In the end it all depends on what you're comfortable with. Both build require expensive gear to be effective end game, and both are top in their respected fields as far as end game potential. Either route you choose I wish you the best of luck :)

Cheers mate, I appreciate the help:) But I have to ask again since you smartly avoided my question:) I understand you skip the boss if u just go for experience but I am sure you had to try it at least...is this build, with this equipment capable of beating palace domi/shrine piety/courtyard trio/normal atziri? (considering no insane map mods involved).

The reason I am asking I played many strong cookie cutter builds in the past (LA ranger, blender, discharger) and while still having top notch equipment many of those builds were not capable of beating Maegera/Palace Domi/Shock and Horror etc or the risk of dying to simply too high...its just get kinda boring to play build that u have to skip all the hard bosses 100% of time, I want to roll a build which I ill be able to own those bosses.

Down to 20c in pure + large pile of smaller currencies so I'm going to have to sell some more stuff to nab the Bino's, then probably work on the final few slots.

Is the Bino's going to give me high enough dps to do insane dps/properly inspire envy and awe? I'll be looking to move to a rare dagger eventually but not sure how easy it's going to be in Ambush.



Edit: Do you think this build can down Atziri? I was assuming we aren't tanky enough to make it through the phases but maybe I'm wrong and the dps makes up for it.

I take the opportunity to ask you a thing: how can i calculate the exact DPS from the tooltip of FS and att x sec?
That is, i have 26500 tooltip and 11.5 att x sec, do i have just to do 26500 x 11.5 or have I to adjust the additional strikes of multistrike?

Haha yeah binos wull get you there. And yes though not confirmed thus far I'm very confident I will down atziri. It seems to be more of a mechanics fight more or less. Dunno about uber as i prolly won't even bother with an attempt until I max out or get really bored of leveling.

Shame ur in ambush I got a nice tri res es belt Ida hooked you up with and some old rings sittin in stash.

Eventually Ambush will be over and we can do some maps in Standard... I'll probably be looking to nab a mirrored dagger at that point for this char as well.

Went to 55 yesterday (leveling has been a little rough as I'm so squishy a goatman looked at me once and I died) but getting closer to being able to equip the gear.
