I've been running this with a few changes that have worked out pretty well so far:
Specced into Revelry. This means that I don't have to run Clarity at all ever, and can use Herald of Ice instead. With Ice Spear and Freezing Pulse casting on crit, this basically just means things explode everywhere and it's been pretty kickass so far. It's probable that I could spec out of Revelry and just rely on flasks at some point, time will tell. Because I'm running FP/Spear, Concentrated is basically useless. Still playing around to see if a third spell (Ball Lightning) or Power Charge on Crit or even just Increased Crit is best. The build is still fun as hell in 1.2 and the fact that you don't have to rely on Clarity makes new things fun. |

so for beyond what kinds of things would rip with this build with so much block/evasion? 1shot melee mechanics? how good would lightning coil work with this build?

" Heavy physical/chaos hits, especially spells: bosses and exiles with EK and bear trap, stuns from evangelists. Corrupted blood and lightning thorns. Something reckless like getting shotgunned by ice spears on death of the porcupine boss. Atziri :) I've only seen one top-tier beyond boss, so can't comment on them. Coil is ever good if you can get resists, the build doesn't really matter :) |

how do you deal with lack of single target dps? i don't imagine its even possible to farm piety within a reasonable amount of time with a build like this.

no. I am on limited bandwidth so I prefer not to watch videos if i don't have to. i guess i just need more crit chance and higher level CoC gem. even then though packs are a breeze to kill but single target it seems ST does not like shotgun 1target very well. seems like most projectiles just go to the side. how important is accuracy?

did you try ST+COC+Artic Breath+IceSpear+Fireball+GMP?
May this combination be more efficient than ConcentrateEffect? |

quick question, how important is evasion in particular?
when i looked at the tree, the ranger had +100% more evasion. is this a important factor when deciding to go scion vs ranger vs shadow? i'm assuming getting more evasion is decent because of ondar's guile, but i have no idea how evasion/acrobatics build work endgame. sorry for nub question, still learning about the mechanics of the game |

Just a quick drop-by to tell
THAT BUILD KICK ASS no im blody serious, i have try it since i alway want a CoC build, but i alway fear of the result woulnd't be what i expect. After getting the gear (witch cost me a whoopy of 10 chaos) i have manage to nearly finish the link yesterday, Beside the ST and 6L the build don'T need nothing (well aura if you want) i clear all, my favorite atm is the dry lake map, just run, cast ST left and right, and watch your toon shoot fireball and artic breath from his ass non-stop ! only part needed are the glove you have. Anyone have a good idea what expencive weapon that build could use. i have try to remplace the 2 small dagger but nothing feel more good that with them ! |

" What gloves are you talking about? There is no need for any special gloves. Rares gloves work just fine too. But since the unique spell damage gloves are so cheap there is little point using a rare for this slot. Again what do you mean 2 small dagger? Write better what you mean. It is there in the guide. Dual ungil's gauche. The best you can have. Hard to beat this combo if you are looking at what you get. For pure damage only there are better choices but why give up all the free block chance?
