Twin Terrors are straightforward, and don't need much explanation. Note that it only affects ST crit, not spell critical. This is the reason I don't recommend taking Nightstalker.

I can't find any skill called nightstalker anywhere in the passive tree. Also why is nightstalker not recommended if it does the same as twin terrors? Enough crit chance with only one of the two?

Also has anyone done the maths to see if it isn't better to take normal lesser crit chance passives instead of things like twin terrors that only increases crits for st?

Nightstalker is in dagger cluster near CI.

For our tree Nightstalker is 120% attack crit for 6 points. 20% per point. Plus Doom Cast for 1 more point.
Twin Terrors is 125% attack crit for 5 points, plus 16% accuracy. 25% per point.
Lesser passives are 15% global crit per point.

I don't recommend Nightstalker because I don't have 100500 points to spend :)

I had to choose and I chose Twin Terrors.

Nightstalker is worth it if you take Eldrich Battery for some reason.

Nightstalker may also be an alternative to Pressure Points, but I don't think it's better.


I hadn't done math, choices were based on instincts. I prefer attack crit over spell crit because it makes damage less spiky. In pure dps it may lose. Math may be interesting.

Man, thank you sooo much for showing that guide. Currently lvl 47 with it and it's a blast, you made my year !!! Well I didnt try a lot of builds yet (Only have a spec throw Scion lvl 72 and crit claw shadow 48) but this one is my favourite by far. You're a genius. Thank you so much.

Has anyone managed to fight the Labyrinth boss successfully with this character? I have 46% spell dodge and it's chaos/physical EK spell still kills me extremely fast. I don't know how else to mitigate the dmg from that attack besides spending another maybe 10 ex to get chaos resist gear and still overcap my elemental resists.

Have you tried equipping rainbow striders and stone of lazhwar for the boss fight?

I have Atziri's Step which gets me to 46% spell dodge. I could get a Rainbowstrides so I could make up for some lost resist from equipping stone of lazhwar for the fight. It would still leave me with less than capped resists because I would have to remove this but maybe that's ok since the boss doesn't seem to deal elemental dmg. Or maybe I could get some gloves with ele resists/chaos resist for the fight to cap myself off temporarily and add a buffer for the chaos.

Why are you worrying about resists? It's just the boss.

It says on the wiki he/she uses the following skills:

Devours Corpses
Suppressing Fire
Ethereal Knives

Only physical damage if we are to believe the wiki.

Is it his machinegun fire that is killing you or the ethereal knives spell?

has any one tried killing or killed atziri/uber atziri??

True probably overanalyzing it. Could just put on a Stone of Lazwhar and screw ele resists. maybe get a Surgeons Amethyst flask. It's these huge hits that are killing me. Probably the EK since it's a phys/chaos spell.
