Has anyone tried out the new ice spell? Does it work with gmp?

EDIT: Just logged in my game. AB does more damage then fireball lmao

Currently using this build as a lvl 72 duelist, going really well. I have a question though. With the new massive improvement to arc, is it viable to go arc + arctic breath or will this be worse/will the extra lightning damage from the ungil's gauches mess up the elemental equilibrium.

Arc is not a projectile so it won't benefit from gmp and our passives that boost projectile damage. Neither is the new glacial cascade skill from what it seems :(

Was surprised that CoC could still be used this way since the nerf adding a cooldown.

so i finally made it to merciless act 3!!!!

im kinda stuck in city of sarn at the moment since i need to get my resistances up. i got slammed REALLY hard in crematorium as my resists are only around the 10-20% range.

Im trying to find someone to quest with me me but the entire message board was filled with nothing but "WTB/WTS etc" however, i did manage to find this beauty:



dude was selling it for only 1 exalt. i checked poexys and all the 70+/23+ versions were at least 2 exalts. I think i caught a deal, right?

My only problem is i spent 40 chroms trying to get a RBRB but used ALL my damn currency trying to do so :\.

That's actually a nice deal considering the rolls. And trying to get 4 off colors with 40 chromatics? You'll need hundreds of them. You are better off doing it on ST/ES gloves/boots.

but im kinda screwed. im at sarn and packs are easy but i know my resists are paying the prices now and costing me deaths. i feel like im stuck in sarn till i get an updated or at least better resists. :|

Pick up some resistance passives from the tree. You can spec out of them once you have better gear. Also use purity, it helps a lot.

Oh yeah! I was waiting for AB buff since I started this build, but GGG had buffed fireball and CoC first :)

4 off-colors on Rat's nest is pretty extreme goal, mine has only 3. It's easier to get them on Maligaro's or boots. And you don't need them that much, I'd use Rat's nest even if it had 0 sockets lol.

Recently found a 16% quality fireball, is it worth using, or does it mess with EE in a bad way?
Currently I'm just leveling it in a free socket until it gets to an appropriate level.
