Invasion is too hard

Now, Nemesis was easy. I think we all agree on that. But this Invasion is way too hard to be a hardcore game. It's a great idea, but some, if not most, of the bosses are completely overpowered. Most of them 2 shot you. I've died on a 53 and a 45 today because I got practically insta-killed with max res and ample hp.

I'm not trying to whine, or be a baby, but seriously.. What about people who are new to the game? There is no way in hell they're sticking to it through this.

All I'm suggesting, is tone it down a bit..

Then he or she should go to the softcore league because quite clearly you aren't awesome enough to be hardcore.

Invasion hardcore.

HC ppl die all the time and you know what they do? They fucking re-roll like nothing happens and keep going and going, They even delete their softcore toon ( some of them ) like nothing even exist.

That's the point you keep going like fucking Dark souls this isn't about dying it's about you having the determination to keep going.

Gee... A HC league with MANY punishing, new monsters, or a Standard league with chests full of loot? I knew which one I was gonna play before they started.

Chris specifically stated that Invasion was toned UP to result in more player deaths, i.e., a more challenging playing environment. Unless that's what you''re looking for (and it was made with HC players in mind), play Ambush. It's a lotta fun, quite rewarding, and has plenty of new elements and aspects to discover. =^[.]^=

Chris wants more popcorn time, so he plays Ambush league, while watching Invasion RIPs.

New players are most likely better off in Ambush anyhows, unless they feel bawsy / are prepared to die and reroll. Heck, Invasion has such punishing new mechanics and skill combos that can and will kill both new and veteran HC players. You can die in the blink of an eye, in fact I've been there a few times already (Thornrunner, do NOT underestimate this cowardish snake, it will make you bleed... Just an example, quick staunching flask reflex or die by bleeding).

I like the added difficulty, but it's not for everyone. Which is why Ambush is the standard league when creating a character.

It's raping my fucking asshole raw, but I don't give a SHIT, I like hardcore just the way it is atm.

IT SHOULD be punishing as FUCK. IT should be impossible for 99.9% of casuals. That's the whole point of 'HARDCORE'.

Getting to 100 in this league will be a real challenge, and I salute that.

I wish we could have replays of the most epic HC deaths though. I'm sure that could be it's own youtube channel.

Softcore players don't care what hardcore players do. I love invasion though - great mechanic.
