I vaal orbed this high roll Carnage Heart and was so blown away with joy (I am a frenzy ranger) that I immediately proceeded to Vaal Orb everything I own. Did not know till the third item that it could turn uniques back into rares or break sockets.
So then I did: It sucked to lose the Rat's Nest and I should not have risked my Maligaros... but man for that Carnage heart and those white-white-offcolor-color Aurseize it was worth it. Playing Sacrifice of the Vaal at launch was peak living.

Hmm Cwdt + Dmg based skill gem actually triggers the lvl 10 temp chains. Pretty neat |

Not being able to chrom the item after corruption really kills the point of a single white socket apparent success :(

" That Rat's Nest is the first bit of good luck I've had on these Vaal orbs. He traded me his corrupted Rat's Nest for that one for another chance to corrupt it better.
