unfortunately, there aint any 'fishing' implicit mod that could appear to make that better. best thing would be +1 gems, white socket(s) [goes well with fishing!] or? +10% fishing line length?

The thing is though, we really don't know what it could roll, only Chris and the great JabberJaws himself would know that. If ever there was an item that could be an exception and have it's own set of corrupted implicits, this would be it. I just can't fathom how soul destroying it would be if it turned it into a rare. I feel sick just thinking about it :S

vaal gems are kinda of a letdown. by the time you use them you cleared the map by other means. you are given a firework to threat yourself with, now with +2!
