[2.2] Arly's Lightning Arrow - Elemental Pathfinder

I am a bit confused on the functionality of Curse on Hit being linked with Herald of Ice, Ice Golem, and Assassins Mark.

Is the Assassins Mark supposed to be cast when the golem hits something? When I hit something while Herald of Ice is up?

I have another Assassins Mark in my gloves that I can cast manually but I was expecting to see it cast automatically sometimes; maybe I am just not noticing it.

The link data is not up to date. Replace ice golem with frenzy in that link combination.

Use the 2.2 perandus league gear progression info for link data.

man, i've seen your jewels, on poe.trade much worse costs few exalts per one, who sells such good jewels for 20c for all??

sounds like bullshit to me.
give me link to trade where someone selling that good jewels for 3-4c each i wanna see it.
your prices are out of your head unless you're dealing with close circle of good friends in this case your prices are irrelevant at least.

I do not appreciate your insinuation.

Deals can be had early on the league when everyone is scrambling to get currency so they can buy key unique items. I don't take screenshots of every trade but here is a few. If you take a look at my gear, outside of my voltaxic, do you really think I spent several exalts for jewels?

The prices you see on poetrade for jewels are grossly overpriced and you see them because people are smart enough not to spend an exalt for a jewel this early on. Paying more than 10c for any jewel atm is a waste. The good jewels are already sold.

still those prices are pure science fiction for me, i've never seen such good items sold that cheap. clearly you're lucky and your knowledge of game is very deep if you conduct such good deals.

So ive done some trading and I have the basic pieces in place.

However I do not have a tabula rasa, only a 5 link, and i only have a 4 link voltaxic.

Do you mind giving your opinion on the priorities as far as support gems go for LA and BR?

right now i have

BR -> CE, VM, WED
LA -> Chain, GMP, Add Light, Increased Critical Damage

Tabula is fairly cheap and only gets cheaper daily.


LA GMP chain WED - added light - the last gem is up to you but I like FA most times and added cold or crit dam for cold resist/enfeeble/ EE maps.

BR WED CE VM - added light - FA.

Nice guide. One question, why dont you spec into heavy and deadly draw? Dont give you huge damage boosts?

Yep i've noticed that. I will hopefully get the currency to afford it soon; I spent my only exalt and a few chaos on getting my voltaxic, atziris, and some gloves, helm, and neck upgrades.

My current stats are:

3800 life
139 life regen (this seems strange considering i have a the x% life regen nodes)
BR- 8k (golem, wrath, herald of ice in hideout)
LA - 7k (golem, wrath, herald of ice in hideout)

Current gear:



I have not done much work on my jewels yet besides rolling a couple magic ones so i think i have good gains to make in that area. I'm also not thrilled with my rings but they are serviceable for now.

My current passive tree is this:



I originally skipped picking up the power/frenzy charges while leveling in order to get to the health/damage nodes sooner so at the moment im focusing on going back and picking those up before moving up towards scion and all the str/health nodes.

I am also seriously considering switching to pathfinder since the flask stuff really seems cool to me. I think the big thing is learning to play the build and keeping my flask effects up since nearly all of my playtime up to now has only been using flasks to heal and to run faster.

I am at 4/6 ascendancy points; if i understand it correctly i can use 20 refund points, complete the lab in normal again and it will let me switch ascendancy class.

Any glaring holes in my gear/build progression or suggestions the most beneficial next steps? I appreciate how attentive you are to this thread considering how long its been going.


p.s. yes I realize I enchanted energy shield on my gloves; I thought I had evasion selected. Now I have to wait till I get the jerk to level 7 to replace.

Nothing wrong with what you're doing. The missing life regen is from blood dance which is totally a preference thing but I like them because it frees up 4% life regen from having to use blood rage in addition to giving me 3.5% additional life regen on top. Several of your gear pieces could be upgraded for a few chaos such as quiver.

Pathfinder requires a lot of flask management which is not for everyone but there are now so many ways to build a bow user that could work.
