[**1.2**] The Party Pooper" Endgame CoC EK/Flame surge-Discharger~Outrageous DPS + Anti-Reflect

I just tried it with lvl20 glacial cascade and it felt like it didnt do much dmg :/ I also tried just runnin arc, flame surge and glacial cascade and that was pretty fun, also had decent clear speed. Really wish i could replace discharge with something, or if GGG would make it less of an eye sore and less of an lagger that it is.

Ok lets talk about something else :) what is your death count ?? I have 576 since i created this char :) most of deaths were because desync lag and early stage testing :/.

Tested a lot. I really like increased crit dmg paired with arc. Shockstack helps with single target. On the other hand Flame Surge is what gives me most dmg, paired with inc. crit. And on the other hand, Glacial Cascade gives more freezing and slow. That's basically it.

When it comes to deathtimers: 128. This was my first character, so it could be lower. Rerolled from a failed lvl 45 ice witch.

i think i win the death count. 894 deaths in 64d and 4h. But in my defence i have used this char for testing many builds.

Just tested some Gorge runs, wanted to see how this melee cyclone non OP movement build would do.
With 3 Quickslvers with additional m.speed roll I got it down to 2:36. Had exactly 10 monsters remaining. Think I was a bit lucky with the layout, no monsters hiding inbetween rocks.

Not gonna post for the contest, just wanted to see. And well, I guess ranged is superior, but fuck that - this build is megafun.

I'm currently working towards it and gearing for it, problem is i'm playing in the Hardcore League and I can't really find your opinions on the build for Hardcore anywhere. I was wondering if you could maybe do a passive tree for a hardcore league version of this build or tell me your thoughts :)?

A second concern of mine is that I won't be able to get Atziri's Acuity anytime soon the rest of the gear I kinda worked out more or less :)! Is this build completely useless without Atziri's Acuity or how do I work around that item?

I realize the question is not targeted against me - either so:
Acuity is not a requirement for the build, but if you do get them, they will save you 14 points in the skilltree.
Playing this build in hardcore is not recommended. Really not recommended. It's a CoC build, it offers desync, little armor and little evasion, and without good gear: low ES.
If you would sacrifice pieces of offensive gear for defensive, you would lose a lot of DPS - the same goes for your passive tree. I usually say: I survive by doing damage, if I do damage I leech it all, and can't be killed.

I would only do this build in hardcore after maybe lvl 85, maybe more. And even then things can oneshot you. Ealier leveles and with poorer gear you can easily kill yourself to reflect.

I won't recommend it, it's as easy as that. This build shines with damage, and it's amazingly fun. In softcore.

If you still want to try this 99% guaranteed suicide mission, then post what gear you have. Lowlife or not, etc.

Thank you so much for your reply as I feared the spec isn't that Hardcore-friendly! :/ Anyhow i'm going to try and make it work anyways. I basically want to keep the idea of cycloning into a coc discharge but if I have to sacrifice alot of damage to stay alive i'd be happy to do so! So far i've gathered the following pieces:

You have nice gear, that's always a good start. As you say yourself, wait until level 85, and do a complete respec.
You might be a god with the flasks, and have several with freeze-roll, but firstly I would get either Auxium or Dream Fragments. As we can't get stunned while cycloning, freezing is our main enemy.
If I were you I would drop Rainbowstride and Maligaros. Get boots and gloves with either high armor, ES or evasion. You could also get a helmet with ES/armor.
There are plenty good ES/EV wheels on the right side of the witchtree, to the left over at the Marauder tree you will always get Body and Soul, and can add on Faith and Steel. At the cost of critnodes and such luxury. With Acuity I have 47% reduction with Granite with 95%extra armor roll.
Since you won't be able to run as many critnodes as us softcorers (or more - shouldnt), I would recommend a Platinum Kris over Ambusher and Demon, as it will give you higher innate crit.
Getting Acuity would also help you out a lot, as it would save you 14 dear points, that could be added to defenses.
Other then that - your ring is nice, but one with more defenses would also be sweet.
Set up a 3-red Immortal call with increased duration as well. Quality it.

For your gem-setup, if you get it 6L, try Glacial Cascade instead of Arc/Inc.crit/Flame Surge. The damage is decent, but it gives you more possibility to freeze and slow.

I haven't done this in hardcore, so I can't set anything in stone. You will have to be careful in the start. It's hard to say how much damage you will lose, you should test carefully in the beginning, have regrets stored and adjust the fine line between damage and defense. As long as you have enugh crit to prc often enough, you should leech plenty of life as well.

Im not really good for hc help, sorry :/ But would be awesome if spell block could be used in this build. Its just so stupid that if u want to have a good spell block, u need to use certain uniqs to get it :(
