My Leveling Guide
I leveled with Double strike and Spectral throw using 2H weapons such as Rigvalds until I found a good 1h, but with enough currency you can just buy Mightflays or whatever else you like for dual strike. Why melee on full life? I realize you dodge and evade a lot, but wouldn't an added fire gem be better most the time?

I've heard people say that Evasion Melee builds are pretty much inferior to Bringer of Rain builds that exploit the Block and Blind that the item has. However, I can see that if you were running a cheap build, the Evasion option would probably be superior.

Hate to necro this, but I figured I might as well. I'm still a bit skeptical about Colby's claim that this build will work for a new player, but I decided to test it. I'll be playing this as my first dude on Ambush league, so I won't have a Magic Find dude feeding him gear and money. It will just be the Duelist going it on his own.

Act 3 Normal, Level 29, and I'm running oom ALL THE TIME lol. Had to spec into Mana Flows and run multiple Mana Flasks to avoid this.
I'm thinking I'll need a Bringer of Rain with Blood Magic to make this work endgame (and be able to run Grace/Hatred). Unfortunately, my only BoR is on Standard. |

why get those crumby 6% life nodes next to scion, when there are 6% life and armour nodes readily available at the marauder area?
