If I just posted the tree, people will copy it anyway. I'm doing this because not everyone will have the exact same gear as me, and thus I try to forcefully mix it up a bit. There's no fun in copying a build point for point and so I provided the base of the build for everyone to expand on. I explained every part of the mechanics and if you understand how it works then there's no issue in replicating my build or maximising the potential.

If you're going to come into my thread with the implications of accusing me of selfishness then please leave.

I'm glad and happy that so many have picked up this build and are enjoying it. But if you can't make small adjustments to what is essentially 95% of the tree point for point, then I can't see how you are still playing path of exile.

I said I'm "inclined to agree" and then clearly said that I respected your efforts and followed by saying I can't tell you right from wrong; I'm just stating my own opinion. I also conceded that yes you do have reasons; you're a reasonable man, surely, who hopefully also understands that forums are for "open creative and constructive discussion." [I'm quoting myself here.]

This is constructive criticism. I'm saying that X, or one way of presenting information MIGHT be better, although I acknowledge the merits of Y, as I acknowledge and respect yours. I then concluded with "I am most definitely grateful" but I PERSONALLY would not have liked keeping your fans [word choice? Supporters?] in the dark.

Let's try another example - myself. I'm actually using this build. Very powerful, very fun. Many would agree. You agree. I agree. Perfect. But can a supporter not voice their opinion to their benefactor and say "I love this build. I would also love it if I could know more?" Hey, I even participated in the guessing. That's constructive. Clear now?

I appreciate the first paragraph of your reply - it was very civil and clearly conveyed what you were thinking, which is justified. Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

I'm not trying to start anything in YOUR thread; I'm not trying to instigate or attack anyone at all. I'm merely stating "Hey, builds are meant to be looked at and studied by other people. Why not share?" which was met by an attack, for nowhere did I ever say you are selfish. In fact, almost every line has praised your efforts.

I'm not going to retaliate; you see, that's NOT constructive. You have the misconception that I'm here specifically to flame your thread. I'm not. I love your work, again, almost every sentence indicated so. But if you can't take an extra second to reread and reply in a civil manner instead of flaring off (Oh no, someone doesn't believe the same things I do, oh whatever shall I do?), then I can't see how you are anywhere near qualified to host a discussion on anything, Path of Exile or otherwise.

You've conveyed that you are not interested in sharing. Alright, that is fine with me. Hey, it's your opinion and I can't dispute it. I'm not going to argue with you. I've already expressed this a number of times, but for the sake of clarity [three times a charm, yes?] I enjoy your work. I think it's great. But I think the attack was uncalled for. QED
