Trying out your build. Just hit 56 tonight, hoping to start maps tomorrow. Using a tabula rasa chest with 6l of fp,gmp,faster casting, ll, ml, added lightning. I am not running power critical because I have ignored all crit nodes until now. Will start hitting them up when I hit 60.
With mana leech and berek's ring, I do not have mana problems atm. I am running disc/clarity with a L5 arctic armor. Build seems pretty fun. Worries I have are my hp are pretty low and getting the Taryn's shiver could be tough, but hopefully I can find one for trade. Should have the mats to attempt to 6l it when I do. Not sure what gems to swap out for pcoc as mana leech seems pretty essential and swapping out faster casting dramatically drops the dps. |

How does this build work without the really expensive gear?

" Hello! I did have, but after different flask setups I think I found a nice solution(well wont work in half regen/no regen maps, as most casters have problems with). Usinga 1 sanctified mana flask for instant recovery and 1 surgeons as I refill it very fast with the crits I do. Freezing bosses, I first coldsnap them and then just spam freezepulse / coldsnap and it works nice, can freeze 78 dominus, not perma but 60% of the time. Evangelists can be trouble yes, so whenever I see them I back, cold snap one that doesnt have a bubble shield and then just rush in a bubble, coldsnap and then kill them all, it works with some tactics :) " Prior the hp in tree first and be careful picking your gear, take gear with as much flat hp as possible, I can get to 3.6k hp without a chest, hp on any of the rings or gloves and I havent taken all the nodes in the tree in my guide as I am using kaom's heart. So getting to 4000+ shouldnt be too hard. PCOC is needed, as it is what gives us the power charges. With some practise you can learn to not use mana leech using smart choices with mana pots. Though if you really want to use mana leech I'd suggest use a 2nd setup with maybe ice spear, increased critical strike and pcoc to give you the chargesw you need. Then you could get a taryn's shiver(5l) and a gifts from above and maligaros. The other pieces can be things you find yourself(found belt, boots and crafted helmet) though to be as effective as me it is pretty costly(preferably a new kaoms and 6l taryn's shiver) It's hard to remember what you have forgotten

Really looks like a nice build. But i think you really must have a Kaoms else your life will be to low. The downside with crit/life builds is that you need ALOT of points and cant really remove a few points to increase your life.
How much hp do you have without a kaom's and just using any normal chest with high + life? |

" Yes you're correct, he life wont be high without kaoms. With a rare chest with 102 hp I had 3.6k hp without hp on rings, with 50/50 on rings I had 3.9k which isnt too impressive, though also remember I dont have taken all the % nodes in tree due to I have kaoms, there is 60% increased life I have not taken which is in the leveling guide! It's hard to remember what you have forgotten

You have 58 Dex from equipment, no dex from passives, and 14 from the Temp base stats. Thats only 72. Where do you get the rest of the Dexterity needed to run GMP at lvl 20?
