Yep, that is correct. There are a few of these cases. Of the top of my head: local and global strike chance on weapons and items, accuracy rating on jewelry and armour, 1H spell damage and a few more.

Well I wouldn't mind to actually straighten it out. I just need to verify if one of the possible sources that indeed does make these distinctions is up-to-date and accurate. When I was scripting on my own a few months ago I didn't know that much about the game so I didn't know which source to trust about the data.

I'll have to think about it some more.
If I don't switch again, then your suggestion certainly sounds more than reasonable.

v1.6.1 is out!

Thanks for the new update! The currency update is particularly helpful as I'm still pretty new at this game.

Also, this is kind of off topic, but, approximately how many Chaos orbs equal an exalted orb? Even though I don't yet have an exalted orb, lol. I just finished normal mode with my first character yesterday and my second character is at the last waypoint before the boss!

Kind of works well lvl'ing two chars at the same time though. More gear to pick from.

Currently, in the league I am in (Domination), 1 Exalted orb seems to be worth 24-25 Chaos orbs.

I agree, I am thinking about doing this for simple affix cases. For difficult compound affixes (those marked with *) unless I drastically change my approch there won't ever be a way to do it reliably.

Still, I think just having it for the majority of cases would already be a benefit.

I read about problems you mentioned when dealing with max possible values for mods on different items. But, in my opinion, even if sources are not very reliable, still it is more beneficial to have values related to item's slot else, it will cause some misleading in judging the actual value of the item which is the actual use of the second columns in the script.

I would agree with this as well. When I'm looking at an item in a specific slot, I'd want to know the best possible tier that specific affix can roll. Otherwise the script wouldn't reach its fullest potential in determining prices until you get to much higher maps, where everything you find can pretty much roll tier 1-3 mods. This being said, that's where I'm at now with one of my characters, so this script is immensely useful for me; I vendor all my crap rares confidently with a vengenance!

On another note, has this been posted to reddit yet? The community there might give you a lot more feedback than official forums, if you're looking for it.

hey there,
thanks for taking the time to make this!! Anyway, I'm having some trouble with it. I have the folder on my desktop, it has 2 folders(data, and extras)along with the script and a readme. i start the script, can see the icon in the taskbar. When im in game, nothing happens. So i alt-tab out, and reload the script with the taskbar right click option. sometimes i see a split second white box with the item info in it on my desktop. i go back to the game.. and nothing happens. ive tried stash, inventory and chat.. to no avail. Does the folder need to be in a specific location? i have AHK installed.. is there something i need to do first to be able to use this script? im no programmer X_X
