My build originated from danmaku he is using. Since it's melee build it has to use leech + BM and it limits 5L chest to single attack spell, so I've remade it to ranged att; now it has more punch and you can kill from afar with more crit procs. But yes, they can easily be re arranged only with few regrets.

EE works well with this build if you do 2 different types of damage spells. Most people I know use Fireball and Ice Spear. You can always just roll an EE map and see how you like it.
I want to make sure Elemental Equilibrium can work with this build before I invest time into leveling my scion. If EE does work and can "rotate", then I feel it would add a huge dimension to this build - in terms of DPS. But I need more opinions.

Don't let it stop you; this build may lack few things but DPS is not among them. EE should work but even if doesn't build will work more then fine, you can easily respec that few nodes if need be.

Mobs had +34% life and triple missiles
Boss is nice illustration of single damage target potential (disregard that sloppy whirl into his mouth :)

EE works amazing well with ST/CoC. I have a similar build focused more on dmg but the concept is the same. My clear speed doubles (and sometimes more) whenever I roll an EE map and use IS/FB. As well as the fact that it makes your ST viable for single target.

Yep. Only difference is the starting nodes. You either get 2% more attack speed and 20% accuracy instead of 3% movement speed or go the evasion/life route for more survivability. I actually kind of wish I started from the Ranger tree.

I respecced my ranger to this build and its a lot of fun! a bit strange getting used to, but worth it...the damage is RIDIC. A nice change from farming on the summoner:D
