Depends where you are. Imho CoC/EK is for late game content. You must first level the regular Split Arrow basis. You should also level your EK asap, even on switch, so that it'll be potent when you'll switch to CoC/EK. Always use the switch to level 6 gems.

That's what I usually do. When my gems get to lvl 18, I start leveling another one on switch to use it when the gem is converted to 20q but still very low lvl. It is then leveled on switch for 10-15 lvl, and I can use the previously leveled gem, now 17-18, meanwhile.

My ranger is doing quite ok but progress is not without problems.
My biggest gripes below: 1. Can't sustain mana when using frenzy. Replaced faster attacks with mana leech and it's better. How do you lot keep up mana with the recommended frenzy setup? 2. Physical reflect maps are impossible i think. Ele reflect maps in a party are hard to next to impossible as well. Always people using the elemental damage auras (wrath, anger etc) so i end up killing myself. 3. Corrupting blood enemies just laugh at me. My skill tree (all according to guide. just deviated to pick up some stats and res) My equipment

I've been testing diamond flasks aswell and they are incredible effective but it's nice to have some extra defensive options via jade/granite flasks. Stats: Lvl: 81 Life: 4000 Res: 75 to all elemental, -25% to chaos Crit chance for sa: 31,4% Crit multiplier for sa: 339% Attacks/sec with sa: 3,31 Armour (with grace): 7000 with jade/granite: 28000 Any help is appreciated. Try running Clarity. Level 8 + Reduced Mana + Blood Magic only costs like 200 life.
How's your crit chance? If it's high enough, you can do a Surgeon's roll on your Granite and Jade flasks and just keep them on all the time. That's the main differences I can see between our setups. http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/786795/page/26 The bleed removal and life leech should be enough to counter Corrupting Blood, and parties should be smart enough to not run Elemental auras on Elemental Reflect maps. anyone tried running aa ? its really effective against ref physical, as for mana regen , i run clarity with bm and reduced mana. link aa with cwdt. im still trying to figure out ways for more mp regen.

Yeah, before the leech nerf I was running max level AA. Now just whatever level my CwDT supports.
Oh, played around with Devouring Totem just because I was recoloring my gear and was looking for another red gem. It's like an automatic healing potion! |
