Very psyched that Darresso defiance and Abysuss getting some updating in looks. When I put Daresso Defiance on I was instantly like WTF! did this person trade me the chest with glorious leather skin on, NO that can't happen skins can't be traded, took off, put on again, whoa!it still looks like glorious leather but it states full dragonscale.

Equally though I am very surprised that

It takes a lot of time/resources for them to make the 3D art for items. Each item that has a graphic has to be modeled once for each character. Essentially what Rory has said is that they would rather pump out the unique items at their current pace, and do 3D art later, instead of only having like 1 unique a patch cycle instead.

I'd rather have the item ingame than wait even longer for them to make the 3D art. 3D art is just showoff-icing on the cake... granted its really awesome/yummy/must have icing : )

I'd really like to see the duplicated artwork eliminated for all base item types eventually.

I know that's probably a big undertaking.

Dear GGG, i am a long time poe player and I know you try to keep it a mystery till you are ready, but a simple yes or no to let us know if there will be legacy uniques would do no harm.
I mean wether you say something more or not, the damage has been done and people are stacking up on uniques they believe will become legacy.
Clearly aegis is just too strong with bor and soultaker. And not very exciting to play imho.
What I would like to see in 1.1 is some nodes which would allow to play without a ES chestpiece yet be able to get endgame es from shield and other gear. Now it is just not possible even if you take all the relevant nodes, 1000 es opportunity cost is just too high. Maybe a node doubling es on shield and making chest defences(arm ev es) 0? I am jusr brainstorming here, but trith is today any chest under 500 es does not really cut it. The opportunity cost is too high even with all bis gear.

My dream come true however would be if you introduced something likeèD3 hellfire rings. An account bound unique which you could farm till you get the rolls you want. That would make end game gearing less rng dependant but more grind oriented and consisted (that would require balancing in a way which allows you to get a chunk of those stats from this unique.
(I have been farming forever and never got anything decent, all income is from trading)
And if you gave it a few unique properties to chose from, that would make it less versatile and if you switch builds you would have to grind a new one.

Please don't kill the shav though, maybe make a +30 lightning res a -30 if you still have to, but it is just lovely unique i would hate to see fade away.

I have another crazy idea: people skip endgame bosses on maps with hard mods because the reward is NEVER worth it, maybe if you had 35% total map xp from last boss it would change things! I think risk/reward is not well balanced here! I am fairly sad being often the only one in my group taking on shrine piety wit assr@pe mods and be rewarded with a death and -10 xp or 3-4 crap rares! Make it worth it, make em harder if you have to!
Also to avoid any abuse of this mechanic why not have a reward in a form of stacking bonus to unique drops or something for map boss kills which you lose on death or after some time, that way farming items at 0 xp would become impossible.

Stay tuned. It'll come out eventually. If it makes you feel better, many of us here waited long for Kaom's Heart, and many others ARE still waiting patiently for Shavronne's Wrappings. Since Closed Beta. So no need to add, Lightning Coil will be out when it's ready.

Otherwise the other way is sign up and work with GGG as 3D designer or pay a huge amount of money to get the team to prioritise it. LOL

For me and many other fans, we will wait. Cause we know it's worth it. You are not alone.
