Obviously I do not have the resources to get the same gear as you, but do you have any advice for me? I unusually use conc effect and reave, but im currently trying your molten strike

Yes, melee continues to be behind the ranged 8 ball... tanks even more so... You look like you are going in the right direction overall. I'm not sure if I would have taken those 5 melee (and 1 hybrid life) nodes north of Master of the Arena. I would probably take 3 of those for Unwavering. Then lose the 3 nodes including Armour Mastery... that would open a variety of other passive nodes for you (more elem resist if you need it.. more shield block.. better dps options with less investment like Retaliation, Berserking, Strong Arm, etc. I would also take Unyielding. I also tweaked my build a bit -- take a look at the updates.

My DPS is abyssmal (around 10k tooltip)
I am not sure whether I should take iron reflexes or not too.

If you can get a legacy Kaoms, I would. I think a Legacy one is like +1500ish HP over a normal one at lvl 100 and some HP nodes.

Can you get an item with 2% mana leech so that mana isn't a problem?

10k is not bad solo (just not so hot in groups -- obviously you can't compete with DPS glass cannon builds, but such is the life of a tank).

Your tree is fine, other than I wouldn't have gone down the "Thick Skin" route (see my latest tree for reference).

Melee is getting some love in Act 4 -- it will be interesting to see what happens. Apparently crit is getting adjusted some, too.

Hey Mortezzah! I recently played in the Torment league for a few weeks casually as cyclone facebreaker until 87 and then discovered this build, switched over to it, and have been loving it. Level 91 now hoping to continue in standard league



This is the gear I'm running right now. I'm hoping to upgrade my weapon in standard since I'm only at a bout 9.5k Molten strike dps. I have a legacy aegis waiting for me, saving up for Kaoms. Are there any improvements I could make right now without mirroring an item?

Ive been using your build model for over a year, 1.3 was challenging but I made it work, this is my static strike facetank, it has a lot of influences from your build evolutions
