Thanks, have you tried this build but with other classes?

Take a look at his skill tree, then think of how you could do the same with another class start.

Keep in mind that every node he takes is pretty important to the build.

This build could be done with a duelist, which will be a tiny bit more dps with that start ... but with less life and armor. This build is designed for tanking, so I personally would go with the life/armor choice.

If you want to flip back some pages in this thread there is a fellow who made this build with a Templar start and it was pretty decent, I don't feel it was quite as efficient as a Marauder start version, but it was still decent.

The other class starts won't be as efficient with this build as too many points would be wasted getting out of the start to the nodes you need.

Just my two cents, as I have this exact same build.

I don't think it is such as you say, since I have a very similar build(if not the same) with a Templar and grab all armor/life nodes from Mara start and also can pick "Discipline and Training" which gives me 40% increase of maximum life.

More life, a bit less Armor/ES, same shit tho.

I mentioned a templar build if you even read my whole post.

Also keep in mind that I said:

"I don't feel it was quite as efficient" and also "Just my two cents"

In other words that is my opinion, and I stand by it because you have to take inefficient 10% phys damage nodes in the start of that tree, also Discipline and training is not 40% increased life.

Is a Templar version a good build? It sure is. But is it as efficient as the marauder version? I do not believe so. You sacrifice some more efficient nodes elsewhere to start and get out of the Templar area.

I also do not believe a templar build is "more life" either because of the inefficient use of a few points getting out of that area and connecting to the rest of the build, points that could directly go into more life nodes or dps.

Again, I am by no means saying a templar version is not good, It just isn't quite as point efficient as a marauder version.

Do u think that 4 nodes makes difference in practice? ;p

Huge difference? Maybe not.

But obviously every point makes a difference, thus if you really want to mix-max and make something the best it possibly can, yes.

i was looking for an uber atziri video too. blue packs and mobs wont hurt him obviously, only question is uber atziri. Im looking forward to see a video of uber tank Gellig versus uber atziri.
Im doing this build. Im Lvl 80, have full elementalresistences(76%), 60% spellblock, 6K life so far and im sooo dead at PietyMapBoss. Why?

Which one?

Temple: Use 1-2 "Dispell shock" flasks.
Shrine: same for the first phase, second phase: you should be pretty much invulnerable.
3.5 build: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2299519

Post your gear and your tree sir, It will make it easier for us to help you

Piety should not be a problem for this build
Temple Piety.(sry forgotten to quote) To tell the truth every Boss is a prob for me. 2 or 3 big hits in a row and im dead. Dont understand how gellig can AFKing so easy every boss. I just have to be on my way to a Boss and im nearly dead. I know i have no chaosresi or good armour. Im working on it. But TemplePiety does just EleDamage right? (BTW i have 1 additional endurance from Bandits)

The tree: http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgEAAecOPBDwFCAYkRmFGjIaOBo-GlUdFCSbJKol3ycvKMUpLjboNuk6UjrYPfxGaUd-TDVN2FBHUWBT31RJVw1YY1ivWNtZ818_YEthIWSjZU1mnm5pcH1yqXTteu98uHzZgIqE2YTvhymLT4x2jM-QVZB0kc6bg57Nn8ugtKcwp4SplayqrK-vorvtvJ--p8Aaw4bEuMbYzNvSIdX442rjn-RR55Hnruw47w7xrPIv8wbzvvZI9zL3Tfe--tL7qg==

The damage from reave is so crappy :( Is it possible to use CoC-Cyclone-EthernalKnifes instead? I think of a good crit Dagger + the Melee crit points on the left side of the tree + Blood magic + maybe 1-3 projectile damage points from the Duelist start region. Or do i need more Crit + powercharges for that?

Gem-Setup could look like: Cycloe + LifeOnHit + Coc + EK
