i just did 7 cowards trial maps
Finding uniques becomes pretty stale/boring when you find the same common ones a zillion times in a row.

" That's exactly why I dont invest in IIR or something, you'll find more rarer items but most of them will be Wanderlusts, crowns of thorns, redbeaks or Lochtonial Caresses or whatever. I'd rather kill faster and safer and have unique finds more spaced out. That way I don't get frustrated that much with the quality of unique drops. Also people are complaining so much about qunique drops but I find them rather generous. BoR, 2x Belly of the Beast, Skullhead, Wings of Entropy, a perfect meightflay (good for leveling), Oro's sacrifice, Malstroem of Chaos, Cowards Trial, Poorjoys Asylum, Infernal Mantle, Sunblast ... all found in the last two month casually playing. Not the big super rare stuff but good enough for my self found ambitions. Manage your expectations! If you torture yourself by running only Piety for 4 days and hope you'll get rich of that instantaniously then you're just expecting a drop behaviour that would give palyers who play more and more professionlly so much drops, you'd feel poor anyways! Remember that wealth is relative. If you find more, everyone else does so too. Just be more satisfied with what you get, learn to effectively generate chaosses and other currency constantly by running maps or piety. Trade if you like and build up your wealth that way. If you feel that PoE doesn't return enough drops for your time invested, it's either not your game or you have wrong expectations (probably looking at super rich streamers etc.). PoE can be very fun without Shavs and whatnot, and remember: One day you'll find some kind of jackpot or you'll be able to aquire something very god via trading. regards |

I really like this map, its pretty amazing for exp also provided you don't out level it too much.

Hi
All Hail the RNGESUS, the one true RNG. First time I did that map got Olmec's lvl 74 unique map, 2nd or 3rd one yielded a alpha howl. Very fun map considering cost to buy in trade and potential to find. cheers Conan: Crush your enemies. See them driven before you. Hear the lamentations of their women.
Never dance with the Devil because a dance with the Devil could last you forever... -I thought what I'd do was,I'd Pretend I was one of those deaf mutes- Nullus Anxietas:) |

You should have been running those maps with IFQ.

First time got a "Mon'tregul's Clasp", sold for 15 ex. :)
On my fifth or so I got "Rise of the Phoenix". --- Uniques in PoE are designed in a misleading way. 1. the level requirement doesn't tell the full story. There's a lot of "lowlevel" uniques that are absolutly fine "endgame" items, depending on the build. Jewelry like Stone of lazwhar, belts like meginord's... 2. Most uniques are not designed to be "top of the food chain", not even at their level. This confuses players even more. "Great, I found a unique and it sucks." 3. Many players keep uniques and want to sell, so they will never be valuable currency-wise due to "offer>demand" (with a few exceptions). Brightbeak is great, but GL trying to sell it for 5+ chaos. ;-) The few uniques that are valuable are SUPER-rare, the rest is kinda "common". So don't cry you only find the weak ones, that's how it is intended. 3.5 build: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2299519
