Sean's DW Blood Tanky DPS

I honestly never ended up committing to a weapon and getting frustrated and focusing on my other characters instead xD it was great tho - I think I made it to the mid 40s before finally giving up. lol

How are you itemizing your duelist? Armor or evade pieces?
I'm not sure what to pick when it's say:

14 armor or 14 evasion or 14 shield.

How do I prioritize?

Leveling up you want to go Armor, for sure.

As you get higher level and you pick up the Iron Reflexes trait you can start getting hybrid gear (Armor and Evasion).

I do like the fact that you were able to get to the Marauder tree without picking up the Fire Resist.

Essentially, you're just trading some damage for more resist. I like it, but I think with how much defensive nodes I've already picked up this build needs some good damage.

There's a ton of difference between mine and this guys' build. I went Axes because 1) I like the innate extra damage they carry, and 2) Because of how few Dex nodes I have in my build I was unsure of my ability to even wield end game Swords.

A big mistake people make in a spec is they tend to complete the entire collection of nodes when they could just get the larger bonus portion and move on to a more efficient area. An example of this is in his Marauder portion of the build, there's little need to grab ALL the resist options, items can easily fill that gap.

Also the node "Leather and Steal", I'm unsure how that stacks with Iron Reflexes. Actually, from what I've heard it doesn't do anything... Multiplies your evasion AFTER Iron Reflexes converts it to 0.

He also has 50% more Armor then me. However I have 22% Block chance. If I'm blocking 22% of all Physical attacks will that make up for the lack of Armor? I don't know, depends on how steep the diminishing returns are for Armor (which I don't know yet), but I'm sure at the very least they're going to yield pretty similar results.

Just a heads up to anyone using this build, I'm going to be adding some variations to the build for people that are wanting a little more tank or a little more damage. Keep a look out!
