There are no words accurate enough to describe that game and its awesome launch. It has been a real pleasure to explore Wraeclast without any lag at all. GGG clearly sets new standards in the universe of online games, and I do hope that the new economy system you rely on will be as successful as you deserve. I personally feel very inclined to support you more in the future, and see this game expands further and further.
Well done! :) Last edited by Tereshkigal#5333 on Jan 25, 2013, 8:27:51 AM

One death due to latency/desync issues with game (lvl 24 on hardcore, that sucked).
A few server crashes during the first evening of playtime. Ridiculously more players online than during stress tests. Patch to address the stuff found quickly applied in under 12 hours. Minor patch speed issues. This is what a game launch is supposed to be like. AAA companies should take a clue from GGG. They aced their launch. NewDude: I killed Brutus. Now I have no quest. So what now?
Guy: I guess there are people that NEED quests for direction. Guy2: I always wonder how those people get through life. GuyMontag: They get married. Wives are like quest-givers. |

Awesome read Chris. Please make sure to thank all other 17 persons on the GGG team on the player's behalf. You have no idea how we all were longing for a real hardcore arpg.
One that does not make you think about best farming routes to get the most gold so you can maybe get lucky and buy a piece of equipment to marginally upgrade your DPS by a small amount, but one where we lay awake at night, thinking about skills to use, affixes we need on our items, best routes to take on the skilldrasil and weather or not to help a bandit. I have not thought this long and hard about building characters since DiabloII... I simply cant stop throwing money at my screen for all the awesomeness you guys produce... loveya GGG! Don't Touch my Sweep please GGG!

Massive congratulations on the launch!!
Seems like it went incredibly smoothly all things considered. I'm really happy for you guys and am rooting for you up here in far-away Norway. It's very very inspiring to see that you can make it while staying true to your design ethos and ideals. |

Keep on doing great job GGG! You`re embarassing gigantic companies, which should learn from you, how to make a perfect game for players.
