How the Open Beta launch went for us

Congrats and well done! I commend you guys on your MTX policy of not selling power and I really hope it will work out financially for you guys as well!

And I have to agree, the launch went very very well. I expected it to be WAY worse and not beeing able to play for the first few days.
You really did a great job these last few weaks, keep up the good work, we'll keep up the support! :D

p.s. I really wonder whether I was the last regular diamond upgrade or if someone pruchased after the 2h mark was reached and before the servers were going down.^^

I have played many games that had transitioned from CBT to OBT and none of them had been as smooth as POE. Awesome job guys!!

Wonderful to read how this has been on your side ! even though I could not download the patch within the 2h allocated, it took me 3, I still think this was a smooth launch and it was very enjoyable to continue playing in the now open beta ! great work ! great read !

I only heard about this game a few days before OB, guess those interviews worked :)


I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed. Though there are still some bugs, and a missing Mac port ^^ (I am running the wine wine version from the forums)
I was amazed at how sooth the release appeared to those of us outside GGG!!!

You have quite a game here, and apparently a great team!
