" Because you have life leech instead of life on hit it depends on your damage output, but for comparison, I took Blood Magic as soon as I could after getting Resolute Technique. You should be fine. |

" Yes, I also got ASAP as ^up . Makes such a huge difference game play wise. |
|
" Excellent work. Almost the path I am taking. |

How to handle the Dex and Int requirements for the Auras? No Passive Skill is taken.
Please read my posts twice before you answer, you are probably not smart enough to get the meaning of it but hey its still free2play.

" You can use amulet that increase dex and/or int, or just basically find other equips that increase stats. However, this guide is really useful, good job & thanks! Last edited by xthrust#5159 on Feb 2, 2013, 6:30:40 AM

Just don't count on the auras you can't use because of that or if you really want them, you'll need to get some stats either in the passive skill tree or in your items to accomodate with their requirements.
Don't forget you can always re-spec those points later on with better/more appropriate gear. Been playing a variation of this build for my first character in the game after the release of OB and I must say, yes, you kill shit really slowly BUT you shouldn't die at all if you're not reckless (not my case XD). The thing is, you kill shit really slowly cause 1/ I personnaly took 0 dmg increase nodes in the passive tree (only 1 attack speed increase node : Berserking ) 2/ this build is quite item dependant after normal difficulty. This is my character right now :

DPS & Stats :

Skill Tree : I spend way too much on this semi-bad gear but that's okay with me 'cause I learned a lot about in-game economics, mechanics and such with those and since I was hitting a wall at the end of normal diffculty (since I wasn't improving my gear at all then, being new to the game and all) I was basically forced to at the time. Having 6 charges at all time when fighting monsters is mandatory if you want to survive at higher levels (even more when our stuff isn't top notch) and you're not going to survive anything if you can't adjust your gameplay to what you're facing anyways. TL;DR The build is indeed viable at higher levels of the game even for new players (I used to play alot of Diablo 2, Titan Quest and Torchlight but never touched Diablo 3) but the more you go up those levels you'll need to rely more on gear and you need to adjust your way of playing with what's gonna be a low damage/high resilience build. |

Sorry if this has been asked, but what potions are ideal for this build?

" Ideally, something like a sapping health flask, a seething health flask, quicksilver of adrenaline, and the last two should be a mix of resists/granite, depending on what you're facing. Health flasks should also give resists as their suffix, and the quicksilver would be best with extra charges. |
