It's most likely because we're using "Added Fire Damage", and because we pick up the "Lava Lash"-node. I don't pick that node up tho before I have the "Diamond skin" in the right section of the tree plus the life at "Golem's Blood" above Berserking.

Hay man I started a few days ago with Path of Exile.
I was looking for a Build which I can understand and I did
I'm level 27 atm and I really enjoy this game much more :D

Skipped lava lash myself, opted for survivability rather than that fire damage bonus.

Been following another, more basic build, with no templar tree nodes. Your guide helped me with that part, with the enduring cry nodes not being needed until high levels part and with some skill stuff. Thanks. Bump this.

The builds both look pretty similar. Which one would you guys use and why? Cause right now I'm kinda doubting to use the one from OP or the on I linked.

been doing fine up (without any armor or defensive nodes) up to level 40 so far in cruel act 2
still snowplowing everything in sight

This so much. Got lucky with a few drops though.

Health: 957 (No Templar nodes and without Carnage)
Heavy Strike DPS: 1075
Ground Slam DPS: 629
Leap Slam DPS: 354

Level 39 A1 Cruel, only died once and it was to General Gravicus's trash mobs. Their Shield charging stun locked me since I didnt have Unwavering yet. Great build OP, looking forward to running maps with it and tweeking it to my needs later on!

now...

yesterday i read the thread about the build from amp93, today this one, both very different to what i had in mind.

i wanted to build a strong (so no ranger or duelist) dual strike char with the two handed weapon in the off hand

so yes i have a two-handed mace now, but mostly i use my two strong one-handed weapons


maybe i will rethink my whole strategy now!
