Had a couple questions regarding summoning and gem selections (still pretty noobish to poe):

1st: What does the remote mine do for spectre minions?

2nd: when you switch out gear in town and you put in other gems do your snapshot minions benefit from the new gems? For instance if i were to put in a life leach and minion damage support gem tied to summon spectre gem will they now have life leach and the added damage or still just the specific gems I used to summon?

3rd: Why the detonate dead?


Thanks for the fantastic guide.. at 69 with only level 17 gems i can kill piety pretty easy solo. Takes me a lot longer than the 3 min to get to her and do it but so far its pretty reliable. 180% IIR and 1 out of 4 times i get a unique with a double drop once.

Hi, first of all thanks for this awsome guide,

I was following your guide before the revamp and now many things have changed (for example in the gems part), I must admit there is still some parts I do not entirely understand, and I would be thankfull if you could take some time to enlighten me, (I have been searching in wikis and net but I couldn't find exact and affirmative answer, also I am relatively new to this game).

1) in the classic part you changed Chober Chaber Mallet for Queen's Decree, is it because it is cheaper? Or maybe is it because it gives some increased damage which is better for piety runs?

2) You talk about the reduced quantity drop on Aurumvorax, isn't it possible to switch weapon when piety is about to die to bypass this ? I couldn't find any indications on when the drop was calculated in this game.

3) In the classic part, you say to link raise zombies with added fire damage which is 38% more damage, why not link it with remote mine which gives 48% at same level (19), is it because of socket colors? Then I could possibly get 3 B 1R on helmet, and replace added fire dmg with remote mine ? and Then place my guardian on another socket. Or perhaps it needs to be linked to rarity and minion life ?

4) You said before you let arc level 1, do you still do ?

yes, budget version, chober costs 10ch+ now

yes, then she oneshots you in the end

you are free to do whatever you wish with your zombies, those are my recommendations, my rarity helmet is pure armour, bbbr was hard enough to roll

I like the guide.

Been using it for awhile. Almost level 85 now. Been linking Spectre with minion damage, minion life, increased burning, item rarity, increased AOE/Conc Effect. Gonna level up a remote mine gem tomorrow and test that out.

So far I've gotten 2x Carcass Jack's, 2x Rainbow Strides, Saffel's, Searing Touch and an Aegis Aurora. Loving it :D

The past couple days I have been weapon swapping with a Reaper's Pursuit. Still need to get a Distillation though.

Hi, thanks for your answers.

I have read more the past days about remote mine gem and burtning miscreation and I found here :

-IIQ and IIR doesn't work on BM aura's, as well as concentrated effect.
-remote mine doesn't work on BM aura's. (more precision and test at page 7 in comments)

Now this was last edited the 29 september, has this been fixed ?
Or do you disagree with what has been said it this thread ?
