can i start my first character with this build? Dat looks like realy fun to play, but high cost at the same time, so is it realy to try this build for newbie?

I started playing again after having not played for a long time. I started a new duelist and looked up builds around level 40 or so. I noticed this one was pretty much identical skill-wise to what I had built so I thought it was a good idea to roll with it.

As for this build's effectiveness- I can't really say how it compares to others since I'm not well versed in builds these days. But I'm comfortably getting by with over 3k HP and 2.5k dps at 61 with meh weapons and no multistrike.

My first character (which sucked) was a mace and shield ground slam marauder. I always liked melee physical damage builds in other games so I tried to make one. This was back before stuff like melee splash and the big skill tree changes. Compared to my marauder, which was my highest level character at 54, this duelist is a lot more effective both in terms of damage output and survivability. I've also found that I've gotten by pretty well with sub-par self-found gear.

Also, any suggestions for if you think there might be changes for it in Domination? This is what I currently have in the tree.

is this 28k DPS without hatred because that's amazing. I assume that from dropping Blood magic and using Added Fire Gem when get a Soul Taker?
