Similar build i'm looking at making in Nemesis but going to run a shield and arctic armour.

Is it okay if I go for crit strike chance for spell instead of a normal crit strike chance that will change the above crit strike chance to 10%^.

Updated my passives after looking closer into it and not trying for arctic armour as it will cost too much.
Also got hold of this wep today.

" Hi, Your tree is overall good but I'm afraid that your crit chance is too low. Without tween terror and few small +15% crit chace nodes you have 200% less increase crit chance than in my tree. My chance to crit is 80% with not bad gear. With perfect gear I could have 85-87%. Your increase crit chance is 200%less so your crit chance will be about 60%. It is possible to play with but much slower and more difficult. You can add other attack in 4L to get 3-4 power charges: power siphon/frenzy - increase crit chance - LMP/GMP - power charge on crit. " Cast on Crit works with linked attack so the most important thing is normal crit chance. Normal crit chance works as a trigger for spells casting but also for crit spell hit. You can add spell crit chance but never instead of normal crit chance. ing: Storm_Gaze

" I have to agree about the Wand first off, very nice. The lack of Crit Chance (small crit nodes + Twin Terrors) will hurt since with perfect gear (2x perfect Gifts from Above (65%x2), Perfect Rat's Nest (75%), Perfect Maligaro's (50%), and perfect Crit from Amulet (38%)) you can get an added 293% chance to crit, which would give you 73.495% chance to crit with that wand (74.85 if you had a perfect 11.04% Wand). Add to that that you have 19% decreased attack speed (and 10% less from not dual wielding) and you'll be critting much less frequently (meaning fewer casts per second). It's possible this will still be enough damage and speed to kill reliably, but it will be slower. Using a shield will give you ~10% increased block chance (31% dual-wielding with the tree vs Shield+10% (+4% from Tempest if you run it)) as well as the added defenses. I don't know how much the "Mind Drinker" passive will do for you, it only works off the Barrage Damage, which I don't think will be enough to make leeching effective. IGN: Tresmere, Mariela, Manyella

Just a quick question:

I am really worried about being so squishy while not wearing a shield as I wanted to stack some chaos res aswell and I have a nice shield for it.
With this build i'm looking at 360% increased crit chance as opposed to 485% that original OP has. But i'm gaining alot more defense at the sacrifice of some crit. I realise that kill speed may be alot slower but survival should be much better since i'm playing in nemesis or do you belive this idea won't work at all with using a shield.
