They are quite rare drop that serves no purpose rather than the exclusivity (like an easter eggs). I suppose it's being kept from closed beta just like Demigods. This results in some extra remove-only tabs.

Edit: Some people propose they have another purpose, which brings another layer of easter eggs, which is very unlikely. But we never know when such things is ninja-patched
