This is really cool. I was thinking of using Cloak of Defiance in my life Flameblast EB build, will definitely try it. I love your guides.

Thanks for the thread and the videos. I decided to try this with my race league Witch (started really late, 4 days in), currently at level 24. I plan to continue her in Nemesis, especially after finding a Stone of Lahzwar for her off n Merveil and then an Araku Tiki in Fellshrine.

I probably wouldn't get the shadow spell damage nodes since you've already gotten the witch's one. I'd do something like this, and head down to get proj speed after: Next step If you find that you need cast speed, I'd just get the nimbleness cluster instead. You're welcome wonky :) Also uploaded another 2 map runs - one in nemesis, the other in torture chamber standard (coz i wouldn' try sketchy stuff like that in nem!) As you can see from the vid, shock and horror's beam is DoT, so it completely renders MoM useless. Build of the Week 14

" Thanks for the response and guidance Invalesco. Got 35 just now, here's how I've spent my first 38 passives. I can respec out of that dex node once I start reaching down to Ballistic Mastery and get +30 dex that way. I was also thinking of going up to Doom Cast to increase my +% increased Critical Strike Chance for Spells from +55% to +115% for 3 passives, maybe with the points I get from killing Piety normal. I'm not entirely sure how the passives for +% increased Critical Strike Chance for Spells differ from the +% increased Critical Strike Chance nodes. How do the different wordings effect Freezing Pulse or Frost Mine? The offline skill planner tells me that so far I have: 55% increased Critical Strike Chance for Spells 40% increased Critical Strike Multiplier for Spells 80% increased Critical Strike Chance 20% increased Critical Strike Multiplier Are these stacking or multiplying one another somehow or applying to different gems (as in melee vs. spells)? Thanks again! Really enjoying playing the build so far, Fire Trap is so handy and defensive, while LMP on FP and Ice Spear make for some fantastic offense and crowd utility. " They're actually not a problem at all! If you look at the dark forest map run and some other map runs, I ran into ele reflect mobs and my HP stayed virtually full with only the mana pool getting diminished. Phase acrobatics helps in that regard too. For maps with ele reflect mods or no mana regen mods, I'd just use Berek's Grip. @Wonky - critical strike chance of spells affects spells alone. critical strike chance affects both spells and attacks. In your case - what's relevant is that both affect freezing pulse. In other words, the bonuses stack with each other. Fire Trap and Freezing Pulse both benefit from the crit chance. Freeze Mine does not because it doesn't crit, but it does get affected by increased spell damage/increased ele damage/increased cold damage nodes. It deals massive base cold damage, hence the reason a 20q cold pen will be so much more useful for freeze mine than freezing pulse, esp since added lightning and added chaos are also used for freezing pulse, and cold pen doesn't benefit the latter two. Ikr! I've always loved builds with engaging playstyles, makes for more fun! Build of the Week 14

Pretty much finished my character for now. Updated the 5th and possibly the final section of my leveling experience.
