[HC] Xinryu's Life/ES Cold Witch

Updates!

Here's my build so far (Level 74):



FP > LMP/GMP > Faster Projectiles > Mana Leech > Life Leech > Faster Casting -- will be the bread and butter of this build

Ice Spear > Spell Totem > GMP > (Elemental Proliferation/Fast Casting) -- Solid CC and suppressing fire. Currently running this in a 3L Moonsorrow, so each spear also has a 9% blind chance.

*ALTERNATIVE*: Summon Skeleton > Spell Totem > Fast casting -- Can use this instead of ice spear totem depending on what your survivability is.


Clarity > Discipline > (Purity/Grace/Determination) > Reduced Mana -- pick a defensive aura, depending on whether or not you have the mana to support it, as well as which is the most efficient for you.

Frostbite (or elemental weakness) > Increased Area > (Reduced Mana/Increased Duration) -- Using frostbite as my standard curse. Generally, elemental weakness is more favourable in a group.

Armour choices revolve around STR/INT hybrid pieces for the armour and ES, since both have fairly significant passive boosts. At the moment, I'm focusing on stacking life with a bit of ES (3.6k HP/1.5k ES).


Current Gear:

Still need to reroll my helm with a bit more life on it. Once I hit 4k or so, I'll start stacking ES up to 2-3k and grabbing ghost reaver.

I like this build. Same thing I wanted to focus on for HC. Which path do you plan on taking first?

Sorry I can't check out the build specifically, but conceptually I'd be trying to aim for gettnig your mana regen to a point where you dont need mana leech, then using LL.

Yeah, pretty much what I was thinking. I'll need to pick up a bit of mana/regen on gear, as the GMP FP @ 2.5 casts/sec is fairly mana intensive. It should be able to break even with ML @ about 700-750 mana.

In addition, there aren't any crit damage/crit chance nodes on that build, as I more favoured the direct damage boosts.


EDIT: Also to answer the other question, I'm probably going to grab up to frost walker, and then grab the life/ES nodes to the right. From there, head all the way down to the templar area. Though, that's all subject to change depending on gear and how hard I'm getting rocked.

I'm sorry but could anyone give me a hint where can I find what all those shortcuts mean? I've played very early closed beta and ended up on like 15 lvl, now I join forum and I don't understand a single post.

Also gonna try this build. Seems easy.

Made a few changes to this, slightly more node flexibility.
