[0.11.0] Eldritch Battery/Armour Crit Dagger Shadow (Based off the CI Crit Dagger Shadow concept)

Hey, I'm looking for an upgrade for my dagger:



as well as a Kite Shield with Strength, Life, and Chaos Resistance if anyone has some hand-me-downs to sell (Default).

Yep, same boat as some people here. Act 2 cruel is starting to kick my butt in places. No problem most of the time, but as soon as I hit a place like the church dungeon, with tons of different elemental damage dealers, I get destroyed. I was able to solo through it, but damn it was slow going.

This build is great if you party, but tough solo (at least until later levels I'm guessing). It's a fun build though, and I see tons of potential, so I'm sticking with it.

How can i get 111 passive skill points if i'm not killing the bandits???
I think it should end at 108... I dont know what i take of.

Everyone complaining about LS probably shouldn't be using it.

For AoE, Fire Trap is much much better until you can afford a good dagger + 5L chest to get the necessary links. That's what I did and it worked out just fine.

No, technically you'll have more. The skill tree on the website doesn't include skill points you get from Act 3. Anyways don't expect to even hit level 100... meaning you shouldn't even consider taking out something unless you're close to his end game build.

Is anyone having mana problems with this build??? Since he doesnt run clarity or disc???

I only have 630mana pool without disc. With disc it brings it to 1100 and I can easily run about 5auras. but I dont have room for the according to this build and would need the other auras so I took out disc and tried to use vit,wrath,hatred,haste and that alone fills up all 600mana so how could i possible get another ?? funny thing is I took 4es/ev nodes so i should probably have more base mana due to eb but I cant run shit. I find my mana so shitty

and yes i have each liked to a lvled reduce mana gem

Your gear is fine for your level. As long as you're progressing fine and not having trouble I wouldn't worry about it. Keep an eye out for a higher damage weapon to replace your claw and some boots with movement speed. As far as support gems, you shouldn't need life leech or life on hit if you're using Warlord's Mark. Can you run at least one damage aura? If so I think Wrath or Hatred is probably the biggest damage increase.

How exactly fire trap is better than LS even at med levels?

1) Only 3 traps, after that they recharge quite slowly, so you can't spam them
2) Relatively small area of effect, compared to LS+LMP+Pierce
3) Mediocre damage - you don't have any skills that boost fire damage on this build, even with the poor gear LS will do about 2 times more damage than firetrap
4) No shock states = no additional damage

Unless you are ok at using 3 traps and running away to wait 8 seconds for full burn damage each time, which is stupid, I don't see the use for them.

Low damage weapon even for your level.
Evasion/ES chest that you don't need and which doesn't have useful modifiers - for chest piece you should use pure armor, since it adds the largest amount of armor of all your gear.
Same thing about gloves - you don't need evasion, find armor or armor/ES gloves.

With such gear using orbs (except chromatics, which you can easily get from shops almost 4 free) is a waste, so don't do it.

Hatred adds way more damage than Wrath btw.

Guys i come to share my experience. Since the beginning i knew this build was hard and at level 54 i stopped with it to roll another character. Now after finding some new gear and skill gems i decided to give it another try. I'm not sure if, at this point, my gear is fine or something is wrong. I don't use Flicker Strike, only LS and Double Strike. Dps is around close to 3000 with double strike and 1300 LS. Any advice is welcome.
