Sooooo I suppose this is my (first?) submission.
If there's reasonable interest in the idea, I'll invest the time required to render it out in ink and Photoshop (to easily transition into screen-printing). I'm thinking to keep the cost down it should be limited to the front (or back I suppose, but lots of outer-wear exposes the chest, and how often do you really see the back of somebody's t-shirt in colder climates?). Using as large of a printable area possible within a reasonable budget, I'm going with the Ranger and her into speech.. -Above the Ranger image- "You can't own a life. Not a deer's, not a rabbit's, and not mine. Every soul has a birth-given right to live however they will...however they can. I take from the wilderness and one day it'll take me in return." -Below the Ranger image- "Not that the fat lords of Oriath believe in such things. They call me poacher and thief. Clap me in irons and haul me like cargo into exile. No matter. I'll make the forests and mountains of Wraeclast my new home. My freedom and my bow: that's all I need." Now, keep in mind I will be drawing it freehand in a large bound book, and will then render it out in Adobe Photoshop at a massive resolution (which can then be scaled to whatever size is ideal). I'm also thinking the text should be centered to the image, and should be in a legible yet far-from-overwhelming font and color combination. Not sure if full-color, two, three, or four screens are desirable? If I remember correctly there can be some variation in pricing related to that format.. |

Seen some awesome submissions, so wanted to add my own.
This is my submission. I used Marauder for this conceptual idea. Other character and their relative skill tree can also be used. It can also work on other T-shirt color like white, red etc. Front of T-shirt Back of T-shirt Thanks to GGG and J!NX for the competition. cheers. edit: added a little info regarding choice of characters. :D Last edited by archzin#1759 on Jan 5, 2014, 1:38:23 AM

This is a submission for the concept, so the colour of the shirt and writing are standard (I would prefer dark grey for the shirt and a brownish red for the writing). Also the font should be changed to the PoE-font. For the "Tour-Locations": I chose the ones I found the most impressive/remarkable/Story relevant. This is open for Discussion and also limited by the Space on the shirt. Alternative Front-slogan: Survival of the Fittest (with a miniature map of wraeclast) I apologize if I copied some other submission and in this case, please ignore my entry. Hi first of all sorry for my bad english.
This is my submission i'm not good with art so i'll describe it : This should be the rear of the shirt. A marauder is kneeling in front of a man standing, handing him a chaos orb. The other man is holding in his hand a cup full of dices and he is surrounded by light he has tons of fusing, jewellers and exalted orbs at his feets. On the front. The path of exile logo. With the slogan : Exiles pray their own savior. |

Let's discuss the submissions posted so far...
I was crazy enough to read all the 90+ pages, so I quote here those which ideas I liked most. The one with image from the generic life nodes, suggested on page 3. I really like PoE's UI, the icons are beautiful! On page 7 Hooi posted a picture of the idea. Looks good but put the image in the middle of shirt.

YOUREaHOOKER: I don't like the idea, have you read the original post, it says :
" Plus it's not because you fell in love with your ranger that you're supposed to focus your entry only about it. I hope I'm not the only one here who thinks that your suggestion does not fulfill the pre-requisites. lolozori: Love this one though. It is fashionable and I would easily wear one of these in public. " Hi there, please re-read my submission and explanation. While I appreciate any critique to my -idea-, please note that what I posted is FAR from a "full screenshot". Not sure what you mean by fallen in love with my Ranger? I personally like the cosmetic appearance, in particular being such a budget Ranger.. not sure what the basis of your assertion is there.. Additionally, I explicitly stated that -if- there was a positive feedback, I would render the image out by hand, and through Photoshop. I also went so far as to specify that my finished image would be fully scalable to adhere to any size restrictions, limitations and/or desires. On top of all that, I specified I could render the image into 2, 3, (any number really) of screens for the production tee. If you are unfamiliar with what a "screen" is related to shirt production please do a quick search before responding. I own a commercial copy of Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 and have designed more production T-Shirts than I care to count, I might just do it up for fun to spite the harsh critique.. Lots of great ideas in here, anyone know the "deciding date"? |
