A 6L for this build just adds more dps. For any build where this is the case I would say a 6L is nowhere near mandatory.

You could use a 4L with Incinerate + faster cast + lmp + life leech for a long time, but you would have to take a lot of mana and regen passives and respec later + you would need high armour leveling gear which is hard to come by. Thats why I think its best to buy a lowbie 5L chest around when you finish farming merc ledge as your main problem in late cruel and onwards will be physical damage.

Yeah you would use incinerate for everything. Try to find a wand with some projectile speed before you can afford to quality your gem. You just need a 3L incinerate + lmp + faster casting and that should be good enough for damage until you get your 5L. For a 4L you can either add life leech if your gear sucks or mana leech if you dont want to keep 3 mana pots on a drink rotation at all times. The only thing that is really dangerous with this while leveling is Barracks with uncapped resist and no life leech linked. Just be careful there, I was melting everything else really.

I am trying out your built after i failed with CI FP. I am playing PoE for less then a week now so consider me a super noob.
As a new player, i dont have any good gear. Im running Lifeleech+Incinerate+LMP in grey lvl 40 boots (ES+Armor) because it has the only fitting link for now.

Recently i found a grey staff with Red+Red+Blue links and i tried Incinerate with Bloodmagic and Lifeleech. And i lost far more life than i leeched.
Is this going to chance and why?
What should i focus on improving first to get rid of this problem?

Im lvl 62 now and got 2500hp with 75.7 lifereg/sec.
(Im Merciless Act 1 at the moment)

Your life leech (assuming you are hitting something) is based on your total hp pool and your damage. I think with around 3000 hp and decent dps you should be fine, so I guess your incinerate damage is really low, try to get a few more levels on the gem or a weapon with more spell damage.

Im lvl 69 now and it works really fine!

Im already farming lvl 67 minions without problems. This build is totally awesome! In addition, in a group i feel like beeing a tank with insane DPS!

Hi! Nice indepth guide!

Questions:

(1) Why no US? You already have IR, so you got only 5% evasion really. And I dont see chayula. Dont you want stun immunity for the 4 stages of incinerate?
(2) Why not GMP instead of LMP? At shotgun range, GMP does more damage.
(3) How much armor do you roughly have with a granite and jade, or both together, on?

Thanks for showing us this build! I love the spell Incinerate! My problem is that I am lvl33 and dont have near enough mana to run without stopping after every single fight and letting my mana build up because I had to pop all my mana potions just to finish a fight; even a small one.

Can you please tell me how to get through these levels?? Tell me where I am going wrong in my skill tree? Skill tree is shown in the spoiler! =)

In your build, how do you get enough mana to run for any length of time? I am lvl44 now and am having trouble with having enough mana!
