I think you misunderstood the meaning of 'carry' and 'support', you are bringing a lot of great utility for your group, thats support, similar to 13 aura builds

off topic to LoL terms, ad carry=physical damage dealer and ap carry=magical damage dealer

'carry' means you do the damage, killing everything with ease so that other 5 can just chill at the back or do w/e.

and I think what Wishinan is trying to say is "how do you solo end game maps", or even solo 78 maps with 5 afk players. You should be able to do it with 2 mirrored item.

anyway, after all the saying, its still a really nice support build

Yes, you are right. The core gears are deerstalker and sunblast. Eyes of chayula counters "stunned status".

I didn't study 13 aura builds. But i wanted to ask "can 13 aura builds run 73 maps alone and kill 73 map bosses so quickly?" Lets ignore the utilities of this build. Its damage is still pretty good, right? (Don't forget cold snap and shock nova are only lv18 gems.)

Who wanted to play a map with 5 afk players? 5 BOTs? When it happens? I thought this situation never happen. I didn't understand why he assumed a impossible situation.
The definition of carry or support may be different in everyone's opinion. I wanted to talk about my opinion. For example, lulu is usually defined as supporter because her skills can support his party members. But lulu go mid sometimes in race(not rank game). She can do pretty good magic damage and support her group at the same time. She is a ap carry in this race. I want to say "a build with nice support utilities didn't mean its damage is low or bad".

Finally, you just need ask yourself if a party member makes your group run maps more quickly and safer, you love or hate him? I believe the answer is very clear. :)

I have great esteem for your opinion. But i cant accept a build can run 73/74 maps quickly and it's called low damage. My skills are lv18 gems. When they are leveled up to lv20, the damage will be raised about 20% again. And i believe most builds with huge damage must be very careful when they met rare monsters with reflect mod. When you feared for hitting some reflect monsters, how to run maps quickly?

This build can enjoy running, following your inclinations, and picking loots. This is my opinion.

After few weeks of trying many builds I decided to go for trapper. I looked at your build, compared it to few of my previous and... long story short this is what I aim for:



Id apreciate your opinion on it. Right now im lvl 58. Worth mentioning is that im poor(I recently managed to get deerstalkers and sunblast though). I must say that mercy appears to be easier for this char than previous diffs. Can you spare some advice for me, so I might spare myself some pain in the future?

If you used trap or mine, you cant leech life or mana. About defense, i thought you must own life leech or es regen per second. You didn't pick zealot's oath, so you didn't have es regen per second. You didn't leech mana, so you couldn't use Shavronne's Revelation to get es regen. It's very dangerous to farm any maps.

PS. You can also go life build and then you can get life regen from flask.

Interesting... I guess I cant reach zealot oath somehow.

few noob questions:

does life regen from flask count towards zealot oath?

And about that regen... Dont really know numbers but... I guess I can hope to reach 5k es and 4% es regen? That means Ill regenerate like 200es per sec... Is it worth it? Wont I still die if im under attack?

From wiki(http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Zealot%27s_Oath):
Percentage based Life Regeneration becomes Percentage based ES Regeneration based on maximum ES. Percentage based Life Regeneration can be gained from several uniques and passives.
This will not cause Life Flasks to recover ES as they give life recovery.
If you have Vaal Pact, it takes priority and you will not regenerate ES.

Yes, it's worthy. You should not keep getting damage in this build. Try to use cold snap freeze your enemies and move > drop the traps > move > drop the traps to escape damage. When enemies were frozen or you escaped some damage, es regen would help you remain full ES. And then you could run maps quickly.
