With the Sovereignty passive and the Aura Effect nodes before it, top left tree (which you have) and an Alphas + lvl 18+ Purity of Fire you will get +5max Fire.


What confuses me about that is that I have that passive and I get +3% max resist at lvl 18 PoF and its not increased to 4% by the passive so why would 4% increase to 5% at lvl 20 PoF?


I would say that's because 28% (those 3 nodes added together) of 3 is not 1 but 28% of 4 is above 1 so 3% does not increase to 4 but 4% does increase to 5.

Because :
level 18 PoF - 3 X 1.28 = 3.84%
level 20 PoF - 4 X 1.28 = 5.12%

POE ignores the decimals.

Does the "1% increased [global] damage per 8 strength" from Doon Cuebiyari also increase RF's damage? Or no, because it was pre-buffed with Searing Touch?

I ask, because I've been slowly acquiring the pieces for my own RF build since before the DoT patch. After, it's only even more appealing. I'm wondering if I should add Doon Cuebiyari to my buy list for (Iron Will) + Cold Snap + Proliferation + Cold Penetration to proc EE, or just stick to a cheaper +2/+1 dagger/wand and Cold Snap drop whichever provides less damage per cast (Iron Will or Cold Penetration).

The snapshot will stay the same regardless of the weapon. Doon or any spell damage will not effect it after you cast it.
Thanks for the build. this shit is seriously op, everything fucking melts. Unfortunately i think they will nerf it, because even before I used my legacy Kaom's the damage was pretty crazy. I could be wrong however. Regardless I'm gonna keep rocking it til they do. Was able to do PoorJoy's Asylum at lvl 77 which is pretty impressive in itself.
