Oro's Righteous Fire Marauder [1.2.0]

This build is a Righteous Fire sustainable life based tank. Righteous Fire does insane amounts of burning damage by stacking life nodes and grabbing burning damage passives. Righteous Fire is your main damage source and Cyclone is used to gain life on hit.
You can watch my livestream at: http://www.twitch.tv/brandon505

Spoiler
In order to sustain Righteous Fire we need lots of life regen passives and +maximum fire resist from passives and gear. Because Righteous Fire damage scales off of our maximum life, we get as much life as possible on the skill tree. This increases our damage and survivability, making this build insanely powerful. Righteous Fire also scales off of Burning Damage and Elemental Damage. We grab Elemental Equilibrium because we use Ice Nova with Cast on Damage Taken to debuff the mobs so they have -50% fire resist(Righteous Fire doesn't proc EE because it is a degen). Elemental Equilibrium also procs on Cyclone if you have any elemental damage on your gear. Look for anything with "Adds # Lighting/Cold damage to make it easier to proc. Also, be careful not to use any gear with "Adds # Fire Damage" because it will make our enemies more resistant to fire which is our main damage source. We grab Iron Reflexes because we use the Grace aura which now gives us armor instead of evasion. We grab the frenzy charge because we will be using The Blood Dance boots that give us 1% life regen per frenzy charge. We grab the Sovereignty aura nodes by the Templar to boost our auras and help us sustain Righteous Fire much easier. The only unique required to make this build work is the Rise of the Phoenix shield that grants us +8% to our maximum fire resist. We will have 92% maximum fire resist to sustain Righteous Fire from Rise of the Phoenix(8%), Purity of Fire(4%), Elemental Adaptation(2%), Diamond Skin(1%), and the Fire Resist passive in the Marauder tree(1%).

PROS
- Insanely tanky with stupid amounts of life
- TONS OF DAMAGE
- Relatively Cheap (All you need is Rise of the Phoenix)
- Immune to Fire Damage with a Ruby Flask
- Immune to Physical and Elemental reflect (This is because Righteous Fire is a degen and does not do any physical OR elemental damage)
- Can do any and all content in the game with ease (Dominus, maps, and Atziri)
- You can also fap while playing this build because all you do is run around and pick up items

CONS
- You cannot hurt totems because RF is an aura and aura's don't effect totems
- You cannot run maps with half/no regen, -max resist, or blood magic
- If you get close to anyone with the Discipline aura you will start to take more damage from Righteous Fire

I leveled using Infernal Blow with Facebreakers, Meginord's Girdle and some flat physical jewelry. A lot of other players level up by using Searing Bond. You can switch to using Righteous Fire at level 65 if you grabbed enough life regen/max fire resist nodes and have the the Rise of the Phoenix unique shield with high enough leveled Purity of Fire and Vitality gems to sustain it.

Spoiler

Spoiler

The only required item is the Rise of the Phoenix. You need Rise of the Phoenix because it gives you the extra +8% maximum fire resist.
This is the perfect endgame weapon for Righteous Fire. It can grant you up to 110% elemental damage on a perfect roll. This weapon only drops from normal Atziri.
We use Blood Dance because it gives us tons of extra life regen from our 5 frenzy charges.
If you auras aren't high enough level this is a good way to sustain Righteous Fire until they level up.
Kaom's Heart is the perfect end game chest for Righteous Fire. This will be your main goal, but until you get one, a good armor/life chest will do just fine.

For everything else we want as much life, armor, and resists as possible. We use Ruby Flasks to gain life back because with our amount of life regen it will give us more life than any flask can. You have a Seething Dousing Flask for emergencies so you can stop Righteous Fire and gain lots of life back quickly. Quicksilver is your main way of moving from pack to pack with this build.

Spoiler
3L: Cast on Damage Taken(lvl 1) - Enduring Cry(lvl 5) - Ice Nova(lvl 8)
3L: Cast on Damage Taken(lvl 1) - Elemental Weakness(lvl 5) - Increased Area of Effect
4L: Cyclone - Vaal Cyclone - Life Gain on Hit - Blood Magic
4L: Reduced Mana - Purity of Fire - Vitality - Grace
4L: Righteous Fire - Increased Area of Effect - Concentrated Effect - Increased Burning Damage

ATZIRI SETUP
3L: Blood Magic - Enduring Cry - Elemental Weakness
3L: Blood Magic - Immortal Call - Increased Duration

Your Righteous Fire is linked with Increased Area of Effect, Concentrated Effect, and Increased Burning Damage because nothing else helps with the damage of it. When you take damage, you will cast Elemental Weakness, Ice Nova, and Enduring Cry. We use Cyclone to gain life on hit and Vaal Cyclone to clear rooms incredibly fast and efficiently.

Spoiler
Normal - Help Oak - +40 base Life
Cruel - Kill All - 1 passive skill point
Merciless - Help Kraityn - +1 Max Frenzy Charge

You can cast RF then weapon swap...and still have it up...

...You want to put it in a Searing Touch.
-RF
-Inc Burn
-Inc AoE
-Empower
-Culling(Damage % should work...if it's not then it's bugged)
Why don't people consider Ambu's Charge? You get 2% life regen, resistance, and endurance charges.

It only gives life regen on low life.

Oh right. Would it be viable if you were running blood magic with your auras?

I hadn't thought of it because you really don't need the other links. Culling Strike doesn't work but Empower and Enhance would effect your spell damage for EK. And the damage on Searing Touch is nuts so that'll work really great. Going to work toward getting at least a 4L one for now. Thanks for this great idea!

Yeah, on a low life build you could use it, but if you have Shavronne's it would be better 100% of the time.
Ambu's Charge isn't used because it doesn't have life....109 life from chest is huge for burning damage.
This build is exactly similar t my own that i'm running since OB. Really interesting choice of items, Ididn't thought about that unique scepter but i'll give it ashot as soon as Ican find one.

Also it's totally possible to run map with elemental weakness, you just need to overstack fire resist.

Finally using the templar aura nodes, Alpha's Howl and empower. You should be able to reach lvl23 of purity of fire wich (according to the wiki) give you +5% max resist wich change to +6% giving you 91%.

Using the unique shoes blood dance gave you an extra +3% life regen wich make this build self sustanable.

Using the unique shoes blood dance ou also get an extra +3% life regen wich make this build self sustanable.

RF builds are already self sustaining...don't need the unique boots.
