Hey, what are your thoughts on what the best 6th gem for pure damage output is, thinking fire penetration? Or doesnt that work with RF?

Nothing.
There is not a single usefull gem other than Item Rarity/Quantity which works with RF.

Just going to skip going for a 6L completely as i dont play standard, so no quantity :P Does the increased burning actually work btw? tried testing the damage difference with and without, but could barely tell the difference, have a suspicion that only the quality of the gem is adding any damage, and if thats the case im guessing that would give a larger damage boost from boosting the quality of conc/IAoE. Could be that its just my mind playing tricks on me with the burning gem.

Must say though, loving the build - the most enjoyable build ive tried so far!

Yes it works - it's a pretty weak Supportgem though, since it only adds Increased damage instead of More like... basically any other Supportgem in this game.
A 20/20 gem is ~15% more damage on my current setup... So less than 1/3 of Elemental Focus.

Thats why you basically could also play this build in a 4-link and still not loose that much damage.

Does Wicked Ward "recharge not interrupted by damage if recharge began recently" works with RF? I guess not (as you never get to recharge due to constant damage), but it was worth asking.

In the Awakening, when Rubyflask was still at 10% maxresistance, you could easily reach a total of 100%. Energyshield recharge also has started at this point - so if you find a way to get to 100% resistance (Corrupted Items, more Auraeffect, Flasknodes), Wicked Ward should work.
I don't think its worth the investment though, since the duration is only 4 seconds anyway.
Hey man how do u have 90% fire res?, i see 80% (purity of fire level 23) plus 8% (unique shield). Maybee im missing something?

Also, with 1200 ES and 87 fire res (so pof level 22) i would need about 10% regen to sustain rf but the tree gives me only 7.3%?

Auraeffect. Every 20% of Auraeffect = 1% Maxres with a level 23 PoF.

Which tree exactly? Noone of the 4 trees without Shav's Ring has a lower reg than 8,3 (+~2,5% via Vitality)

Yeah my bad, forgot about that 1% life regen point in the fire damage area.

Im lvl 65 atm in pch, going to respec in the next few levels tho i was wondering if i should invest in gems (lvl 20 pof / discipline) and perhaps or in better gear since i wont be able to get Empower / Enlighten lvl 3.

I only have this:

Spoiler

And 1 ex more to spend so should i go for high ES gear, or buy empower lvl 2 and PoF / Discipline lvl 20?

Ty!

Post your other gear aswell please :)

I'd go for the level 2 Empower probably, unless your other gear is bad. It's only ~15 Chaos in PHC, so you can buy some decent jewlery for the rest.

I didnt post the rest of my gear because im still life based (untill i reach lvl 70sh and run the last lab) so they have +life mods, therefore its like if i didnt have other items :). Buying decent ones shouldnt be a problem tho, managed to get boots for 5 chaos.

Spoiler

So yeah i guess i will buy empower level 2 and pof/discipline for most of my currency and then get decent ES rings/ammys and the rest, but gems are going to be my priority.

Ty for help!
