Thats really strange, especially since you are using Shavs and Shapers Seed

Edit: You also should socket your Purity of fire + Empower into your helmet for a Level 23 PoF

Heres my current build, got a lot of improvements and I am missing a ring

I prefer the Ephemeral over Doryanis for the Extra Survivability over damage

And 1h Maces are ugly



Finally stopped losing ES with the shapers

But definitely need that extra 2% for some reason, ill buy a shavs ring soon then keep the amulet and replace the fragile bloom jewel with a nice resistence jewel + dmg

I also needed 6 extra nodes with 0.4% Reg because I have no Shav Ring, so its nothing to worry about.
Your mistake is to have PoF in your Gloves instead of The Vertex:
PoF Lvl 20 + 1 from Gloves + 1 from Lvl 2 Empower = Lvl 22.
But you need Lvl 23 in order to get 5% max Res!

So ill adjust this a little more, gotta sale my 6l disfavour then ill buy a shavs ring

is this uber viable? i know aztiri viable so does that mean with practice uber viable?

Hm.. i don't know, but im feeling so useless :/
Im not that tanky and can't do high lvl maps. I do no dmg to bosses, which seems kinda weird..
maybe it's because of gem lvls? even then I dont know if 1 or 2 lvl's will do it..

if I got rid of purity of ice ( lets assume i can hit max cold res ) do u really need that aura

or could i replace it with maybe

Haste
Determination
Anger ( does this scale RF? )

Purities have 35% Mana reserved, these 3 have 50%, so you can't run it.
Haste only gives you Movement because you don't cast anything.
Determination is only viable if you have high armour value, but you just have 263 from your shield.
Anger adds Spell Damage and Spell Damage doesn't scale with RF, only Fire and Dmg over time.
The only additional useful Aura would be Grace/Vaal Grace, but it also reduces the times Cast when stunned is triggering.

I dont have the currency to buy a lot of Mortal Hopes, so i only tried it once so far (which was on patch 1.3 and lower level - i had 1-2k less ES and also lower damage at that point)

I died 3 times on my way to vaal (lol) because i underestimated the damage of those blue melee mobs with increased damage - but as soon as i got the hang of it, (move fast and get them at the edge of RF's Aoe) it was ok

Vaal duo was no problem at all (Try to bring both to low life and finish them with Vaal Discipline) and i died 1 time at the trio - You should dodge the first attack of the tentacle thingy and try to kill her with vaal discipline. Kill the Cyclone dude after that, while you are kiting the other guy. You can kind of facetank the last one with an anti-curse flask.

Atziri doesnt oneshot you, so it SHOULD be doable if you have the skill for it (Which i certainly dont have because i suck at avoiding those Storm Calls)

Here's my gear (7271 ES, dont know how to get more, except divining my items!):

•Craft the 5-20% increased ES mod on your ring
•If you cant afford 1 Ex for the ES mod, craft added cold damage to attacks on your ring instead (You are able to proc Elemental Equilibrium on bosses via your autoatacks, which should boost your damage by a lot)
•You skilled 1 useless STR node above Mind over Matter - Respec it and finish Written in Blood (the hybrid ES/Life notable below Pain Attunnement) which will give you 10 STR aswell
•Get rid of the +STR on your boots and craft +INT instead (10 int = 2% ES) or +DEX so you can respec the +30 DEX node in the tree - the STR from your tree + your amulet is enough to use your level 18 Vitality
•A Divine Orb on your Shavs is definitely worth it (150% is the lowest roll possible, so it cant really get worse)
•The most efficent ES nodes are in the Melding Cluster (Hybrid Life/ES - equal to 7,75% ES per node) in combination with the Energy From Within Jewel which you already have - so try to get them next
•Your Energy from Within Jewel is kinda badly rolled aswell - you can get a 11% one for 1 Chaos on poe.trade
•Dont use the Fragile Bloom Jewel - Replace it with another highly rolled Energy From within or a rare Jewel with ES. You probably dont need it anyway, because you are using Shav's Revelation and 10% increased damage taken is a huge downside
•Getting one more level on your Empower and Purity of Fire will push your maximum fireresistance by another 2%
•1 more level on Discipline (and 1 on Empower) will increase your ES by ~200 ES
•At your current state you should do about 30-40k DPS (~60k with Vaal Discipline), wich should actually be enough to faceroll most bosses - i'm at 52k DPS right now and i have no problems at all when dealing with bosses. Maybe the Elemental Equilibrium on hit just makes the difference, IDK
•You can replace the skills in your Shield with
CWDT + Enfeeble + Immortal Call/Chaos Golem to push your defenses
or CWDT + Elemental Weakness + Flame Golem to push your damage
You can also use both curses, if you skill the Whisper of Doom notable for 3 points - but you will ofc loose 3 Point worth of ES (~18%) if you do so
•Arctic Breath instead of Shock/Icenova might be better due to the 100% Chance of leaving chilled ground
•You can try if Ephemeral Edge is working better for you than Doryanis

Haste and Determination are useless (We dont need cast speed, and we also dont have armor) - you also wont have enough mana/life to cast either of them
Anger doesnt work with RF

EDIT: Firnefex was faster than me :P

You can replace Purity of Ice with Arctic Armour though
You wont even need the Enhance gem in this case, and you will still have 10% life left to run a Golem on Blood Magic

I'm currently working on a Scion tree for this build, which is able to run all the auras used in the original build + Arctic Armor and Grace (+ Iron Reflexes)
It will be a level 90+ Tree though

I will update the Guide as soon as i finished testing (and i will ofc also update the curse thingy for the current build, which i actually wanted to do 2 Weeks ago but, yeah.... im lazy :P)

Still working on the gear, I gotta waste a lot of stat points for dex (3 to be exact) and its pretty annoying

is there anywhere for molten shield in this build?
