Are you sure that Sunblast works? Sounds reasonable, but some tests are always a good thing.^^

Why does life make such a huge difference on the killspeed? Because you used 3 and one died without the life gem? Or just reduced chance of getting stunned due to the higher life pool?

BM's burn damage is a percentage of their max HP, like righteous fire. + minion life will usually increase their damage more than +min damage.

If you increase them from 180% life (RS + passives) to 240% life (+life gem) you just increased their burning damage by 33%

As for increased burning damage, with just min life+dmg+ one curse elemental weakness, white mobs on lvl 70 maps are dying in about 0.6 seconds, and larger mobs of them are pretty dangerous so I think increased AoE is almost a must given how much damage your already dealing.

Culling strike will add a bit of damage due to the increased damage it gets (~20%), but fire pen still shouldn't work because there is no hit involved, same for the actual culling effect.

yes i tested a few with and with out on Piety and there was a noticeable difference in the time it took to burn her down

i also took 2 trap and mine nodes for 27% each more dmg and with out and the dmg was also greatly effected

our fears and dreams are mostly all true about the BM's getting Massive dmg increase with the right set up

Since I've done my own tests, I'll post the numbers.

186% increased minion life from gear, passives, and Minion Life support gem.
11% increased minion damage from gear.

Fire Pen only apply for on hit, that burning aura is dont do on hit.

Yeah I'm aware of that. I read the Support Gem Feedback even before I did the test. I just thought it'd be nice to show people who don't know the mechanic some numbers, and it's always good to have tests reproduced.
