Really, the most annoying thing about the current balance/state of the game is difficulty.

It's just far too easy to survive, particularly in parties and parties already have significant advantages apart from survival.

Too easy/too many people getting to lvl 75+ without any trouble aside from time.

I lold...

Honestly, that race did not even have any competition in the end, nobody had to get nervous. Rank 11-14 pretty much thought they were out of the race 30 hours before end. Nobody of them expected to win a Demigod's, because you know? They were too far away.

They all won a Demigod. I admit a lot of the reasons were people doing stupid things or stuff happening beyond their control. These things get more and more common if you push it though. I have heard so many people announcing ~100h marathons with your exact philosophy.

Some of them did never reach a level past 40. That is why I lold.

I am slightly confused, honestly not sure what you're trying to say. If you are disagreeing about difficulty, that's fine I guess? Honestly, I don't think the game has at any stage been easier though.
working all week... but I will be playing this as soon as I get home!!
I might try a necro build this time
My point is just that I don't see it being *too* easy, if 4 players in the top10 die in the last 6 hours. And don't get me wrong, I prefer turbo myself. But let's get off our horses and stop calling chances of dying in non-turbo maps 'insignificant' or at about '5% death rate'.

I just don't see a point or any addition to the discussion in constantly repeating yourself how easy you think this game is. How about you show it? When you did races the game was a different one. The competition got steeper. You have not competed at high ranks recently and that stuff does have a higher than insignificant risk of dying. Maybe for the wrong reasons.

Do you even see that the total xp has almost doubled since your last non-turbo 1 week race? Of course there is an insignificant risk of dying, if I play half the time I played last time oO. Is that not obvious? I am just saying stop repeating yourself while stating your opinions as facts... especially if the statistics have changed significantly.

Try to pull off 1.5G xp and call that week risk-free. Oh, you can show us in 12 hours, can you not? If you did not read, I prefer turbo too. But for many reasons GGG went with this one (maybe they don't think about this at all). I think, though, that this is the most important information for them to have to decide which alpha changes make it to OB.

Let's start adding to the discussion again, shall we?

I'm saying the game is generally easy, I'm not saying there isn't more competition. I'm definitely not arguing that competition can force you into doing more risky things.
I can understand why this time there are prizes only for the top 20 places, but I hope that in the future there will be also consolation prizes for reacihing certain level and stying alive.

For casual players, like me, who can invest only a few hours of gameplay / day

Hey guys, I'm going to be looking for a team for this week race. Doesn't have to be a static team, just something so I can enjoy the content a little bit better and have a higher chance of getting top twenty. My plan is a marauder, not sure if melee or ranged, but we'll see.

Xfire: Mardhyn
Character: Hood_Anthem

I'm inbetween jobs, and while I may have a interview this week(#fingerscrossed) I don't have anything on my dance card. Going to bed in the next couple hours and I'll be online around seven o'clock eastern so I can prepare, make my character, ect.
"Do or do not, there is no try."
Hey, Looking for 1-2 more people for a team im setting up. We plan on running 18+ hours a day maybe one or two 48 runs. So far there is 2 of us. We will be using voice coms. If interested send me a PM and we can all meet up before the race and make a plan.
