Gotta get the maps before I can show it. Assuming the lightning smash from 78 Dom is even(50% Phys/50% Lightning) phys/lightning damage, I can survive it, maybe/probably not with Abyssus, but we'll see.

Dude, your "crit variant" tree only differs from "current" with two not taken nodes (no life regen taken and no 8% life taken). Its even have RT %)

Crit variant is horrible lol, worse than this mediocre RT build. First off - abyssus and reflect. Secondly, for crit you need cc cd and accuracy to make it worth it, which means different and expensive gear and gem links and nodes (ie less life nodes - more squishy and scrubby build) to have reasonable dps. You might end up with the same or less dps than RT if you dont have enough hit chance, and cc / cd. Or just a tad more which isnt worth it with the unreliable chance to hit. Cyclone rolls crit / hit chance per activation, so you can whirl and just miss or not crit a lot. Also, crit physical on a life build is the worst idea ever, because VP is not really recommended and you will die to reflect all the time. Of course, scrubcore is scrubcore and one can do whatever he wants, at the end of the day. But crit physical builds are generally better suited to CI / VP / dagger builds that can pull it off far better.

sure he exaggerates a little maybe, he is posting his build, bigging himself up, who doesn't do that? When I play I begin to feel like my character is awesomesauce, usually this feeling means impending death. I play hardcore, I hate redoing areas so end up mapping around lvl 63, tend to die and remake.

Are my builds viable? Probably, though my recklessness certainly isn't.
