So Descent Champions is almost everything the community has ever asked for...?!?!

Why you should try Harcore http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/209310/page/1

" Kole?? .... Yeah me neither as I not seen kole
Love descent! However a permanent league or even four months would be too much. I vote for either endgame or keep it event only but maybe make it longer.

" Had no problem getting to lvl 19 on my first try starting late. Maybe you just aren't great at video games? I don't mean to be rude, but...
" Everyone think they are the best gamers ever since new games last 10 years have told them so. They they come to POE and reality kicks in now. 90% of the players will just suck ass and many of them will find some excuse to cover there ego. However the best players will train and train and thats why we see the top 50 is almost always the same names |

" Unless you can train RNG, it's all about dedication and that means time, unhealthy amount of time (also being popular streamer doesn't hurt).
" I bought into the RoS hype just enough to play it for about 20 minutes... I experienced desync several times, only they call it "rubberbanding" The only thing PoE and RoS compete on is stream-time on Kripp's channel... My words are poetry and thus not subject to spellcheck or the laws of grammar.

Taking the time pressure away from Descent Champions would ruin it.
However I do think GGG should implement some sort of functionality to spontaneously create races, assuming enough players are trying to start one at the same time. If you're familiar with how draft queues work in Magic: the Gathering Online, then you know what I'm talking about. This would mean that, if enough of the community was into it, you could play Descent: Champions races all day long... although, in order to keep the ladder rankings from going only to the players who play the most, you'd have to limit the amount of Reward Points somehow. I've actually written an entire thread on this months ago, before Descent even existed. When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.
