So there's nothing caster specific in the 2nd chest? First chest has a wand, expected a spirit shield or another wand or something, I guess instead casters will go for the endurance shield shield? Seems a bit weird. The dagger is too melee specific, the armor is also fairly melee specific. I guess the helm with the low life thing kinda works too. Meh.
Oh well the wand with clarity on it is already pretty nice and will make a nice offhand once you roll a wand with +1 fire/ice. |

Will those items be the only uniques?
If so it will be a pretty caster based race, because their melee use is quiet limited. FireTrap+Glass Shank Or 2 Glass shanks. 2 Axes The other options will vary between Belt(dex classes) and helmet(str classes) Sure the idea behind the Sword is to go ST,cleave and spark. But it isn't effective. The Staff might work. The wand is underwhelmign compared to crit builds. Poor guys who are choosing the shield. The bow makes split arrow more interesting. But how will it look like on explosive arrow, PA or RoA?To my understanding it means no addition to fuse charges. |

With the personal achievements and challenges sheets on the forum, GGG could make Descent a "permanent" race.
Instead of waiting for a scheduled race, you could start a Descent character whenever you wanted. That char would have a timer of 1 hour of existence at the end of which it would be removed to null league. The achievements would log your best Descent run (maybe per character class). There would be a seasonal ladder of best times per class per account. This way no lifers would still no-life the shyt out of Descent and win the ladder, normal people with jobs would be able to play it whenever they would have spare time. Everybody wins! Only two races that are at reasonable times for the whole country and we have to ditch people on Saturday night for the second, with one each that work on the east coast if you live close to work and one that requires staying up really late on a work night; and against those two are your Wed 5pm and Thur 12am time slot races. FRI 3PM SUN 6PM TUE 4AM WED 1AM WED 11AM THU 8AM SAT 9PM MON 3PM WED 6PM FRI 11AM PS 2 of your dates appear to be for classic Descent races. Editing your list to correct that (in bold) doesn't really help though. Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?

I agree with race timing ,all the time when I sit at computer and its like 16:00 , 17:00 in Europe ,its says that all decent races starts in like 8 hours .... What the hell.
