Eldritch Battery, Poison Arrow & Traps Life Build
Build:
Gems Used: Poison Arrow + LMP/GMP + Increase Duration. (Optional: + Increase AoE + Chain). Burning Arrow + Chance to Ignite. (Optional: Elemental Proliferation + Added Fire). Decoy Totem. Bear Trap + Added Fire.(Optional: + Culling Strike). Fire Trap. (Optional: + Added Cold/Lightning/Chaos. Temporal Chains & Vulnerability. Clarity, Purity, Discipline. (Optional: + Reduced Mana) Optional: Puncture + Chance to Flee. (Optional: + Increased Duration). Frost Wall + Increased Duration. Determination & Vitality. Why Eldritch Battery? Cost of Fire/Bear Traps and the escalating PA means lots of mana consumption, you will probably have enough mana with couple of decent increase ES hybrid armors. Single Target: You will only attack single target when it's a rare/boss mob. If it's a normal/slow moving mob, use Puncture, Bear Trap then spam Burning Arrow, Decoy Totem if you had to. Multiple Target: Put down a Decoy to attract melee mobs close to it enough then Vulnerability & Temporal Chains before Poison Arrow & Fire Trap them. Updated, became a Life base, EB with dual curse.
Died on Vaal at Ruthless due to silly mistake getting hammer... Thoughts: Mana issue from early game cus there aren't any mana regen or % increase node near Shadow. Decoy don't survive early game, though it can survive in late game it's important to get Armor/ArmorES gear but not evasion. You could get EB in cruel or start of ruthless as PA & traps starts to suck your mana easily. Get a +1 bow skill of at least lv.15 or more so that you can make it 3 socket at least with PA, LMP & Increase duration. You might die if you are not careful of your HP with Puncture, Chaos or in Waterfall Cave without Hp regen. I think it's possible to do it with Shadow but Templar might be better starting choice.
