Honestly, you really want AT LEAST a few exalteds on hand to get your late weapons (even just 2ex each for some 250+phys dps will take you through merciless!!)

I had some half decent gear from a diff meele toon I had (nothing special or close to GG) and just spent the ex on leveling / late game weapons and OMG THIS RAPES!!

Late game if you can get some nice 300 dps weaps (if u can splurge on pure phys, OMG) you will COAST through the game and low maps!!

I AM USING BLOOD MAGIC PASSIVE AND NO SOUL TAKER! (although I def plan on getting one eventually to run at least hatred + grace) and 67+ maps are a JOKE! I feel like it should be stressed that you DO NOT NEED SOUL TAKER until end-end-game! The rest of the build can be done with 1/4 of the price of the soultaker alone!

Personally, I DON'T recommend it!

Any build that doesn't use a shield or involves high DPS typically requires some bank to get going once you hit merciless. It's not a question of skill, just of getting the currency for the items. If you have a way to get currency however *cough cough buy it online cough* then sure! Keep in mind you won't be running any auras and you won't get the soul taker as it costs a butt-ton.

If your trying to play it legit and find/trade for all your items/currency, I HIGHLY recommend doing either a summoner (witch imo) or a very tanky spectral throw build with life leech. My first high level toon was a 2handed spectral throw Scion and most of the build was made "tanky" just to survive late-game but I pulled it off and can do 70 maps on her without spending a dime of real cash-money.

Just my opinion from experience!

2. dual strike to <10% life
3. switch to mf axt
4. disable hatred to get space for the flask to regen mana
5. use Divination Distillate
6. double strike + cull to death

fastest run 1:30 from creating lvl 3 ini to loot piety.

I like this build and i am using it :D I use Claws Dual strike so i wont need to worry about life leech... Then when i get soultaker.. I will start using axes and start getting axe damage nodes :D

WOOT Just got my main to 84 and made it to the ladder!!! 14415th but still proud lol!

This guide...omg...Finally got my soul taker then up'd my gear so I could ditch the resist passives and get more dmg in place!

Hatred + Grace, pretty much same potion setup (inst+Bleed,inst+Frozen,AR+AR,Chaos,Speed+Speed) and farmin 75 Maps (well the 3 i've gotten to drop so far lol). Even killed the dominius boss map (wasn't easy tho!). Still got some room for upgrades but it's at the point where they are VERY SPECIFIC and hard to find.

Can't get over how much fun this build is!
