Hi,
This build is not finished yet, but i'm felling that it is solid enough to share. I'm still improving the skills setup, skill tree and equipment. This build is focused on Spell Damage and Cast speed: Q20 arc has an on hit 20% chance to shock and never misses. Totens also never stop casting, so your dpS is very realistic.

Gears and gems setup
You must look for: spell damage, cast speed, ES, inteligence, mana, resistances. Head: decoy totem + empower + totem ele. resistance + faster casting Gloves: frost wall + faster casting + incleased duration + spell totem (your arcs can pass through the wall while the totem keep the mobs far from you) boots: spark + lightning penetration + faster casting + spell totem (your single target spell. Arcs aren't very good to kill single targets(---need more testing---) weapon: lightning warp + faster casting + reduced duration shield: discipline + reduced mana conductivit or elem weakness body: arc + added lightening damage + elemental proliferation+ lightening penetration + faster casting + reduced mana or empower
Flasks, a very importante part of the build
It is good to keep your mana aways under mana flasks effect, to make you imune to curses as long as possible. Mana is a serious issue, with empower, each totem costs about 360 mana and with reduced mana about 180. In the future, with better equipes, im planning to not run discipline to save the entire mana pool. Using a lvl 3 empower will probably raise the dps from 2,6k to 3k+ per totem. Interesting. Looks very efficient, but you do have alot of max'd gems with 20 quality. My dual (tri to be) totem witch is also using arc, but went the crit way.. not sure how well that will work in endgame though since i'm only 58 atm.
I initially also considered getting all totem passives, but ended up going crit+spell damage passives instead. What is dps on your arc totem? Hejren / Triceps / Regnbuen / Sarinti / Striglen / Mareridt / Spoegelset / Doktoren / Dobbelganger / Skjoldtrold / Forkynderen

One question. Why did you go for Spell Totem on gloves and Boots? Aren't the arc ones on SM enough? Also, have u tried to switch between Crit Dmg gem and Added Lightning? How does ur DPS scale? I use the same link of gems with the diffrence that i do not have 6L, so no Mana Reduction and, instead of added lightning DMG i use Crit DMG. Great Work! --- " Thanks, I'm following your build since you posted it :), also your idea of using "culling" for the last gem slot looks very good. 50% Damage effectiveness on arc actually restricts the gems choices. Here are some pics showing my DPS, switching "added lightning" for "lvl 16 crit multipl" as you asked:

These 20% shock duration and 10% chance to shock on quality "added lightning" gem makes it very important to me. Different from you i rely on "on hit" to spread shock status. I choose to follow the passive skill totem path, because, one of my first ideas, as a long time summoner, was to hide behind my totens as i do with my minions. With that in mind, i wanted to make my totens as much as strong as possible. Mostly of the time, i use only "decoy totem" and 2 "arc" totens. The "ice wall" totem is very competent to block damage and mobs, like the boss of "museum" map. Spark totem is my second attempt to find a usefull single target spell. Before that, i was using "shock wave" totens to lock the bosses on the wall. Thanks for all the questions IGN: Manda_Chuva

" Which "dual spork with triple curse build" are you talking about? 1.0 path nerfs killed about all dual spork totem builds know. " Took a look at ur tree. Is not worth going on any gem related to Crit. Ur build is not around Critical nodes so it's normal that is not as effective like in my own. One thing is sure, ur totems are way more beefier :D. By taking all totem nodes they probably have more life than u. :) PS: Need me to get me one of those empower gems.. 125% mana mult... against 110% from culling... Need to powneder over this when i'll get a 6l SM. |

At what time would you recommend taking CI? And what skill were you using for leveling?

I'm up to 3 totems now, and must admit it's getting annoying to produce charges. Popping totems, cursing and generating charges.. just not enough time or mana. I still think they can work in boss fights for added damage, but I'm not so sure they are worth it for general play and as such it might be a waste to get the extra 3 charges which I have now.
