[1.0.3] Freeze Pulser built up around 6L Taryn Shiver

My witch was an ordinary CI FP with wand and shield for 80 levels. Now after some lucky turns I got 6L Taryn Shiver. The keystat of Taryn Shiver is "+1 cold gem level", because freezing pulse scales really well when upgraded to 20+ levels. Of course this staff gives nice cast speed and spell damage boost as well.

Passive tree.
Not the most efficient since I had some serious problems with agi and str gains. Next going for power charge and duration. Stacked as much life as possible since got Kaoms heart.







Usage of different flasks depends on map type. Generally diamond flask is one of the best, because while its active everything just freezes.

Critical chance: 35.4%
Critical multiplier: 510%

-LMP or GMP?
In some maps GMP sucks too much mana and LMP comes in to keep the dps up.
-Empower?
Empower lvl 3 would be great for flat dps increase, but it takes forever to farm.
-Cold penetration is good in high res maps

Curse
Frostbite or Critical weakness?
-Fb better in phys dmg group with hatred.

Aura
Clarity: Reduced mana
?? Haste ?? Vitality ??
-Could able to maintain dual aura with Manaleach

Cast when damage taken
CWDT: Icespear, GMP, Power charge when crit
-Good way to build up higher crit chance
-Using level 1 CWDT -> as many procs as possible
CWDT: Decoy totem, Molten shell, Enduring cry
-Adds tons of buffer between you and your death
-Using level 9 CWDT -> more effective spells

Lightning warp: reduced duration
-escape mechanism/faster movement


Problematic:
-OP bosses like in Labyrinth, Torturers chambers, even in Villa. (kinda problems for every class)
-Rare/blue devourers (Cant freeze what you cant see before its too late)
-Lightning thorns (even with 77% res I can suicide, because gmp + high cast speed)
-Element reflect with negative resistance maps (Reroll :)

Ah, deleted the old one and forgot to add the new one. Now its there.

Got Kaoms heart. Now 70-74 maps are so easy mode even with killer affixes.

Added new picture, because Taryn Shiver got new epic 3D model!

how can you call high life when you have a kaoms with 4k life on the video? am i missing something here? :S

Didn't have kaoms on the video :D

Found out turning my ES -> Mana + Using = no worries with mana even in low regen maps. No need for two mana flasks anymore. Going now with second diamond flask.

very cool FP build, its good to see taryn's still being used. however if you spec into EB and get a bit of mana regen from tree and rings, you could easily take out the mana leech and put in added lightning damage, cold pen, or crit damage. the tree would look something like this and for people hesitant on the kaoms you could get a good armour/es chest with a good ES roll and run an arctic armour (level 13 does the trick for my templar, titty bitches and dogs do 0 damage). also corrupting the freezing pulse to lvl 21/20 would provide another nice dps boost
