yeah the number of death was quite impressive for a regular race 2nd ranger, for once my partner didn't die and things go so much more smoothly with a good weapon got ms boots after fidelitas, running in sins 3 without lightning resist' was a bit scary first time trying poison arrow too, that's a decent skill	Posted by Pam#2190 on Dec 21, 2012, 5:07:54 PM Quote this Post
First event I actually put quite the effort for. Found 3 random party members in global chat. We got fetid pool first kill. Witch died on beach(lol), shadow died in upper,Templar died to shocks on ledge. Level 30.15 - second-best 3h run I've done (got 31.5 in practice), and the only non-turbo one I've actually finished officially. #7 overall, #2 duelist. I didn't have time to find a group, so I just soloed, which I prefer anyway. EDIT: I actually died four minutes into the race zoning into Mud Flats with a couple of mobs onscreen, heh. Killed Vaal between 2:00:00 - 2:03:00, then hit Cruel Ledge at about 2:15:00. I wish I could've challenged grindis but it takes a much better run to clear the act two quests quickly enough to keep up with a group. Was fastest through-runner thou :) But didn't risk to go to Vaal. If we didn't forgot bout the gem, we would make it even higher. So not bad, I must say. Arrived around an hour late for this race, rolled generic heavy/gs marauder for a change since i knew 1st was out of the question. Poor drops, used white mauls until western. Got a decent sledge there and move boots. Other gear was average. Bosses went down without issue. Farmed western for the last hour. Feedback: Melee pre-restech feels terrible. Can never tell when a miss is desync, the monster moving out of range (no idea why they can do this btw, as players cant do the same- monsters that attack when were in range will often still do damage even if were half a screen away when the attack lands) or rng fail. Still not too late to scrap the accuracy system entirely! Level 23 in the end. Thanks to my party for the ledge/brutus/merveil/western wps! GG all, cya next race. I lost interest after over half my party killed themselves =P, things didnt go to plan during brutus and everyone seemed to lose focus. I re-rushed to brutus but I did really poorly, had to clear full map of lower prison, didnt reset the instance in upper, and ended up doing 2 full clears of upper prison before finding brutus.
