I made alts by picking up blues, the brutus part is an exploit
ms boots before hillock is pretty lucky yeah but if you get bad terraces, large chest before brutus and in cavern of anger you lose way more time with bad maps than 10% runspeed
I also killed dweller
where's the luck of getting alch if your bow is +1gem accuracy cold res' (past merveil) and crit multiplier ?

Really bad start for me mud flats was weird with glyphs miles apart from each other. When I finally got them and was nearing the glyph wall, a massive amount of rhoas kept charging on me and I decided trying my luck and not to bail and died right there. Remade my duelist and somehow finished act1 first, but item luck was pretty horrible with no transmutes/chances/alchs, no MS boots.

Decided not to progress initially and just went to farm western a bit. Then later some gear dropped along with nice jagged foil and I decided to go try waterfall lvl 2 farming for fun.

Yep I had no move speed boots yet again, I have yet to get a pair in a race. I also yet again had 0 alchs. Still came 9th with starting 17 mins late, so I did pretty decent. The lag seemed pretty bad against brutus this race.

Died very early in Upper Submerge. Got stuned by a Daughter and surrounded. Made a new Marauder and progressed quite passive and save. Just wanted to finish the race in a good place.

Found 0 Alch and not a good weapon but 10% speed boots very early.

Finished 12th. I'm really happy with the result.

Yep, could have just gone for Pools and Streams or waterfall cave and take first place with your pace but I think after doing vaal i wouldn't have had enough time left to make it beyond level 27 even if I had reached the ledge.
I definitely was behind you before vaal and making level 24 (with 90% left until 25) -> 28 within ~25 minutes would have been tough with my dps, even at cruel difficulty.

But Vaal was my goal for this race, so I am fine with the result :-).

was my first event did enjoy was 1st time a played marauder, dont think i played it that well, came 59th, i'll try a new class for tomorrows event. Nice1

Was doing well in race, was on my way to Brutus and went to take off my chest and my mouse double clicked and took off my coral ring. Paniced for a second trying to fix it and died to 3 goat smashes.

I then died again in Mud Flats.
I then died again in Lower Submerged.
I then died AGAIN in Terraces.

And then, an hour into the race, I started my new character and ended up level 20.
I got move speed boots, but I only got 1 cold res ring in the vendor over the course of 4 levels so merveil was very scary, even though I did it I would not attempt it with under 30% cold res again on turbo.
After that I didn't do much else other than western forest for a short time.

I guess its time for a new mouse. G500 is a great mouse though. Probably will get another.

i would consider myself extremely lucky to get a +1gem mod on any bow especially early on (mod level is 9). Makes farming western forest and a lot of other areas a cakewalk with poison arrow. fun race, though i got a few disconnects when i tried to enter a new area.
